In this video I show how to build more crew quarters and fans of my interior for Richlarrousse's SS Edmund Fitzgerald.
Built in 1958, the SS Edmund Fitzgerald was a Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company of Milwaukee ore freighter which operated throughout the Great Lakes until November 10, 1975. When it was built, it was the Great Lakes largest freighter ever at 729 feet, and operated normally for 17 years until it was caught in a storm on Lake Superior. It tragically sank within 10 seconds, killing all 29 crew members. The exact cause for the sinking has not been found, but some theories include: leaky cargo hatches, running aground, and massive waves.
