Tape Machines consist of two guys - Simon & Fredrik. Together they make music that is something out of the ordinary. At least that’s what their moms think (and around 2 million other people). Simon’s originating from a numerous Punk and Emo bands, heading on to working with top Hip Hop artists in Sweden while Fredrik’s been busy mixing and producing various pop artists. After being friends for many years they suddenly realized that they share the same dream of releasing good music without the filters of big record labels and “hard to get artists”. So that’s what they did.
Tape Machines feat Limón - Till That Eagle Grins

The lyrics are cut from an old US depression song, written by Jimmy Cox and performed by many artists after that, such as Nina Simone and Eric Clapton, to name a few.
The words are also relevant to us in these crazy times. From one day to another, the world of musicians and artists has suddenly changed in a drastic way - and the already quite uncertain situation has become even more uncertain.
Well...truth is we worked on this song for quite some time before Corona, so this twist/angle was more of a “happy” coincidence.

Simon of Tape Machines came up with the idea to do a modern version of his dad’s old favorite blues song and Fredrik liked the idea. To ask our dear friend Limón to come onboard as a featured artist was a no brainer!
