I just installed lights onto the aux 6 (yellow) switch and it's not bound to the brights... any idea what I'm doing wrong?
@@preston7376 hi, connection as per the ford manual is Aux switch 6, yellow wire next to the fuse relay box position A should be correct one, switch needs to be on position. then when you select hi beam the switch 6 should eliminate and lights come on. if not working all i can suggest check wiring then check all fuses.
Best video of the best slide out i have seen.
@@HighOnPortals thank you, one year on still working great
in auto cad file its not mention about bend please guide me about how much bend
stupid where were the accessories?!
Probably the simplest build for a slide I’ve seen yet. I love it. Been trying to decide how I’m going to make one for my new truck and this is gonna be it. Thank you. 😁
WHY would you need to remove the trolly? makes no sense
@@stevek758 hi a couple of reasons, the main one the Milwaukee trolley doesn’t fit under my ute roller cover. Also to fit the packout drawers
Because the trollyvfolds up , it's a great way of doing it
Thanks for the video You inspired me to build mine for my cybertruck. Used the existing D ring bolt holes.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Grea job. Wish I had a slide out like this. What brand of bed cover?
@@TheTexasguy83 thanks for that, the slide is working out a treat. I use it every day for work. The roller cover is a EGR rolltrac. it works well when it works having issues at the moment. They are trying to fix it.
Fantastic jobs!
What did u use for the aluminum bottom shell? Did u fabricate that out of flat piece of aluminum?
@@mshmusic yes 3mm aluminium sheet with 70mm upturns bent by the supplier
Beautiful build. I like your 20 x 9 wheels. Do you mind me asking what size tires you have. Cheers
@@jamesjannell8706 Tyres are Maxxis 285/55R20. Also please stop spelling Tyres incorrectly 🤣
Great work man! You made all the right choices that enhance the car and fit seemingly with its overall aesthetic.
@@abdulazeezalshareef thanks for that mate, I’m very happy with it and wouldn’t change anything
so clean. great job.
@@vincentduke7212 thank you, I’m very happy with the outcome I can switch between Milwaukee packout options and easily remove the slide for full tray use
Excellent and simple solution, well done!
😢😢😂😂😂
nice job, looks good.
Hi can you send me the link for the lights please? Found the lights need a link for the bracket now 😃
Hi. Steve, Please let me know if the link isn’t working www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/rp3ru0ffnpmeyljnkv845/Bracket.dxf?rlkey=4xyht9uwe46nd0o06klr2m528&dl=0
nice job! wish you had a list of part #s and a link and thx again nice job
Love it!!!
love the color, looks sharp!
Brilliant mate. Im inspired
Mate I absolute love your work! Is it possible to have a complete list of materials and sizes including the upstand height on large 3mm sheet and size of angle. I think your solution is perfect and I would like to replicate exactly to your specifications. Again well done mate and thank you for sharing. Dave
Hi Dave 3mm flat sheet base, 1440mm long, 555mm internal width, 70mm internal riser 50mm x 50mm equal angle Drawer slides are from Dunn and Watson Queensland part number DS0131 1422mm long 17mm Form ply for the base 8mm nut inserts to fit the ply base to the angle and Milwaukee packout base system to the ply. 6mm stainless screws with Nyloc nuts Mike.
When you don't show them in use at night, will always make me the skeptic. Seen plenty of light installs where something on the vehicle is cut up, only to find its not so great. A driver's view...in use... at night... tells a big story.
Are you aware of any slides that are 72” that can support more then 500lbs? Wicked build drawn a lot on inspiration from it.
Thats a long slide and a heavy load, not sure you will find one that will suit your specifications The largest Dunn and Watson have is 1700mm long and max 45kg.
Just what I was looking for. My handcart has a folding toe plate and didn’t want to permanently attach the floor plate.

Just put casters on the bottom of the wall mount. You know if you put your stuff in a van and work out of there.
Try running your casters across open ground... they don't work very well.
Nice try but to be honest it's not so nice , you have too many video's on UA-cam and you can really make it much better
Imho the best aux light install. Looks OEM and doesn't block any functional grille vents 👏🏻 👏🏻
This is brilliant I'm gonna copy you. Thx!
Great colour choice, love 😍 the wheels, lower grille spots and that sports bar with integrated lights.
Nice build, but I didn't like the way the handle on the hand truck flexed when you went to loft the box up. 😆
You could use a stronger hand cart.
I downloaded the cad file but there's no drill layout for where the lights are bolted
I left that detail out because it depends on the brand of lights used. Once the bracket is mounted you can position the light as required. It’s a free file can do all the work 😁
@@Chibby007 what brand of light would you suggest regardless of my budget? by the way thanks for sharing your CAD file :)
@@culturemediaPh I used Stedi C-4 but Baja would be nice but are expensive
Where did you get that metal sheet that you used as the base? What is the thickness?
Its made from 3mm aluminum and can be purchased from most aluminum supplier, you will just need to get someone to bend to suit the width of your slide.

I purchased the slides from Dunn and Watson Queensland Australia model DS0131 1422mm long rated at 160kg

That's the best setup I've seen for a raptor..what a perfect fit..I may have to change from dewalt to Milwaukee. Looks fantastic.
Cheers mate. I think Milwaukee should give me a freebie but don’t think thats going to happen 😂
Tu pouvait pas habiter en france pour me faire le meme 😂😂
I’m gonna do this but with heavy duty dolly. Good tips
How’d yours go? I plan on doing this with the heavy duty hand truck dolly as well I’m gonna make the bottom piece a little thicker tho
Hm dass man die blanken led sieht wenn die led aus sind gefällt mir nicht so sehr. Da muss ich wohl noch weiter suchen
Awesome build. Did you wire the lights on the sport bar yourself? If so where did you wire the brake light to?
Thanks for that, no I didn’t install the sports bar but it looks like they wired the brake and reverse lights to the loom near the trailer plug.
@@Chibby007 thanks mate. I installed sports bar myself but struggling with brake light. Just watching again the wheels are absolutely class. Well done!
