Syntakt + Digitakt | Halluc~ination
Jamming with these two beautiful Elektron machines.
I decided to plug the Digitakt into the Syntakt to have the Analog FX on both, although I didn't use it so much here.
Syntakt is main MIDI, sending Clock and transport to the Digi.

Syntakt - Chords and Water Drops sounds

Playing with the Chord machine is always fun, adding some portamento between two bars for a nice sliding effect, then ... the sound of the drops is made by applying a random shape LFO to the Frequency filter. Great sounding track and one more proof that you can make full tracks on this box alone. Is the bass "stock" Syntakt or do you add something like a compressor or other FX to make it push through the mix so well?
Thanks! The bass is made from the Analog engine called SY Dual VCO. It goes through the FX analog channel to give some overdrive, but apart from that, there is no master compression. Straight out from the Syntakt through USB to Overbridge to record it. Hope that answers it :)

Thanks! Check that video where it shows a bit more how it's made. ua-cam.com/video/0fFcw_GJiVE/v-deo.html It's basically a random LFO on the frequency filter!
for extra modulation you can always run Syntakt via Overbridge in VCV rack and map any parameter of the synths. Additionally, you can use any type of effect for the audio. The Rainpad sound was amazing!! Filter modulation causes the drops?
