Please pray for me. I have a hard time feeling like God is with me. I used to feel his presence more strongly. But I was very sinful and willful. I am having a hard time knowing that God has forgiven me and still loves me. Please pray for a full restoration of my relationship with God.

I found this site while scrolling one day. I live in Charlottesville and am blessed to be able to come to the monastery for liturgy. Joy is quite evident in the faces of the sisters there, as it is in yours. That is the joy I have been seeking all my life. I'm just now beginning to taste its richness and goodness. The Lord has healed a huge wound in my heart through the care and support of many talented therapists and priests and spiritual directors. I do rejoice because God is with me and has always been, even in darkness when I felt lost and abandoned. His light protected me and let me be open to the healing process. Thank you sharing your way of prayer which seems so simple, yet is so rich, so punitive. Thank you for sharing JOY. With much love to you and your sisters. Merry Christmas!

Thank you Sr Maria. The evil one won’t let me stop being in confusion at present. I am not Roman Catholic but I am very grateful for You Tubers who teach me everything about Jesus who I proclaim is my Lord and Saviour and who I have a loving relationship with. I was raised in a Secular household and my family are all secular. My Secular parents had me baptized at the age of 3 even though we never attended a church. I married when I was 21 in an Anglican Church shortly after my father died. I thought I was a Christian then. I didn’t love the man but couldn’t be alone. I became pregnant and immediately this man stopped working and began mistreating me. After the baby things got worse in many ways. I had left my job to care for the child and I had to find new employment. He spent every penny I made and mistreated our daughter and did nothing to care for us or the home. He was addicted to drugs by the 4th year and I left him. He did many bad things to our daughter and to me after I left and for about 5 more years until the Court banned him from seeing us. I met a new man whom I have been married to for 25 years now. He raised my daughter as his own and we had two sons. We have a very happy and loving marriage and are a mostly happy family now. I came to Christ in 2020 and my husband who grew up like me, secular, came to Christ in June of this year 2024. We attend a Protestant Gospel Church and are working by Serving at church and in community. I am told by my Christian Women friends that my second marriage is valid because the blood of our Saviour Jesus has covered all past, present and future sins however I have been worried about Saint Paul’s letters to the Corinthians about remarriage being sinful and adulteress. I need someone to help me know why the Blood of Jesus wouldn’t have washed away my sins when I was saved. Please Help me Sister! I am very distressed. Debbie

Moved very rural to homestead but children are grown and gone. Struggling with so much stillness. Not always.. Inoften talk to Jesus in the midst of snow, gardening, leaves changing, harvesting our food, baking bread etc.. but there are times I miss people and I can’t seem to find any that I’m comfortable with. I need to stretch deeper and go bodily out to volunteer somewhere occasionally as I’m not working. I feel I must find a way to be more useful even though I’m fully living out my vocation as a wife. This video was very helpful Thankyou. I talked to mother Angelica on the phone 25+ years ago when I had two little children and she said she would be my spiritual mother. I will never forget that conversation.

Thank you sister for this beautiful meditation. I am 67 a semi retired nurse. I'm single and have felt enormous loneliness in my life. To day is Christmas day and God blessed me with the company of 2 beautiful prayefull ladies. Praise you Jesus❤

I have been struggling with loneliness, overthinking and anxiety since I lost my husband in 2017, retired, moved, and bought my very first house. After it gets dark every night, I start thinking of what-ifs: smoke alarms going off, the power going out, or other things that terrify me. A persistent health problem (which my doctor says is caused by anxiety) keeps me home and isolated. A Christian therapist is helping me work through these fears. I've been slowly learning that God loves me. I know that God has tenderly showered blessings on me. What I'm working on is getting this knowledge of God's love into my heart! It helps to thank God every morning for watching over me. I imagine the love of God wrapping around me like a hug. Then I often pray that I'd like to hug God back. I'm the type who loves hugs, so this imagery works for me. As for Christmas, though I love Christmas music, food and movies, I find more happiness being at church, sharing my time and food with others, and having some "centering" time in prayer. Wishing you and everybody posting a blessed and love-filled Christmas.

Thank sister, and a blessed Christmas to you too! I'm praying to learn how to pray, and to find a way to shine God's light in the darkness, of myself and everyone I meet. Would you ask our Father to guide my efforts? I'm missing my parish back in Vermont; now home in Virginia, and want them to know how much I love them and treasure them. I would ask for God's loving Hand to guide them, bless them and protect them. Would you pray for the Parishoners of St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church of Vermont? I believe that that Spirit of The Lord led me there, and because of that- I've begun to seek Jesus with all my heart, soul, and mind.

This has been especially hard. My husband is a manic depressive. I'm the one who works to support us. I actually missed Christmas mass because I'm so exhausted and overwhelmed doing everything alone. No medicine helps. He's months just sleeping. I pray to God to give me kindness and peace of mind and. Thank you sister. I needed this so much. God bless you. I'm ashamed I couldn't go to mass. I always go every Sunday. During the week and I missed celebrating the birth of Jesus.
