2024 International WASZP Games - Final Day
Magnus Overbeck claimed victory after an all week battle, coming from 9th position after qualifying to win the 2024 International WASZP Games by 2pts from Norwegian Markus Berthet in glamour 18knot winds in Sandefjord.

Huge winds forced a delayed start for day four of the International WASZP Games in Norway. The 4pm local time start allowed two races to be completed before a slight delay to let the ferry go through and then a final two races of the day in slightly lighter winds. The race for the title is well and truly on with one day remaining.

180 boats on one start line! That is what we witnessed on day 3 of the 2024 International WASZP Games in Sandefjord Norway. Glamourous conditions greeted the fleet for the slalom/sprint racing to start finals racing. By the time to distance race started the wind had built to 20 knots as the 180 boat fleet circumnavigated one of the most spectacular Fjords in the world!

The second day of the WASZP competition in Sandefjord saw moderate conditions and a reasonable sea state on the outer course. We managed to get three races in for each fleet across day one of the International WASZP Games in Norway Sandefjord. A great start to the event, even though the conditions were marginal, it provided large patches of solid foiling conditions. It was awesome to speak with competitors from the Bahamas and Australia about the vibes at WASZP events. Day two is looking windy. Bring it on!

and cheaper and less dangerous and better for beginners! It's targeted at the average person, rather than pro's like Slingsby and Outerage.
