Thanks for the video. I’m putting mine on a 2011 Silverado.
Most helpful. Tu so much
@@snewberry327 you're welcome
Use a swasall, less of a mess and won't rip out all the grass
#1 - you nailed it! My headlight switch had corrosion on the terminals. A quick cleaning with sandpaper, and it was fixed. The hot glue trick is necessary. Plastic decays over time. I appreciate this video very much!
@@user-db9iy2tp3i glad it helped you out
Thank you, this video was very helpful. I’m tired of looking at that darn symbol.
glad you found it helpful!
No orfice
I bought an orifice tube but there was already a new one in the new condenser I installed. So yes, there is an orifice tube in the system. I mentioned this in part one at the end of the video when I showed the parts I installed. I also mentioned this in the description on this video.
Great looking truck Mike. I have a ‘97 f250 almost exactly like it - 2WD crew cab (unfortunately short box), same colors. 330k almost trouble free miles. Enjoy!
I really like the truck, probably never sell it.
@@mikesworld60 same here. Kinda wish mine was 4x4, but it has been a great truck in 2x4. 330k miles and I’m taking it from SE US to SW US next week. I’d like to think that I will see a million miles, but I’m too old. 👴🏻
@@hgj2019 mine is also a 2wd and I use it mostly for traveling and pulling my 5th wheel. I have a 93 k2500 Silverado 4x4 that I use for most of the stuff I do around home and am not too concerned about the paint on that truck. It is my beater truck with 304k on it and it is the original 5.7-liter motor and has not been rebuilt.
So when watching the actual "Permatex" instruction video after watching yours. Permatex only puts the activator on the windshield only. Not on the windshield and button. I am going to reach out to Permatex to confirm, activator on windshield only.
What’s the part called???
Multi-Function Switch
i have no running tail lights only mr brake lights and turning signals work , i replaced the headlamp switch and still nothing , i need help any recommendations?
maybe you have 2 bad bulbs, you might plug in a trailer and see if the trailer has lights this would tell you the wiring is ok and must be in the taillight assemblies.
There's no way that is a 10k trailer. It doesn't matter how big those axles are if your frame is weak.
I don't think the frame is weak, it has 5 1/2" channel all the way down the sides that are 1/4" thick and everything is on 16" centers underneath. It weighs in at nearly 2900 lbs. dry.
my 14 ft has 3 inch axles and its only a 7k trailer built better then yours . So i agree yours cant be 10k
If you have 3-inch axles they are rated at 5200 lbs. 3500 lb. axles are 2-3/8" diameter axles. Maybe you have more capacity than you think if your springs are 5 leaf like mine and 12" drums. I looked up all the parts and they all cross to 5200 lb. axles and suspension.
Is that the same, Will it move Ranger?
It is a different ranger than the other one in will it move video.
Little disappointed Mike, you've got so many great Fords on the channel. Not sure about the Chevy...
It's my 4x4 Silverado, great running truck and my work truck. I use my f350 for longer distances and pulling my 5th wheel. I call it my nice truck.
No me digas eso mi
?
Shouldn’t you put other bolts under the wheel arches higher up in to the bar holding the deck boards as the wheel arches will have a space behind them where junk & water can get in??? 👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
The side of the trailer where the fender is bolted on is not the same at the top of the rail. I decided to leave it open instead of putting a spacer or caulk in it. Any water that would get into it from the top will just run out and it will be easy to rinse out anything that would get into it. There is no way water can come up from under the fenders since the area where it is bolted is about 3 inches wide.
Wow, you make it look easy Mike. I’m impressed. Great job.
Thanks 👍, I think the hardest part was working under the sink.
YA GOT ME
Its a great runner
The truck sounds good!
It runs good, as you can hear it sounds better at 4x.
With a little work your $500 investment turned into a $3000 trailer. I like the way you enclosed the fenders.
Thanks! It was a lot of work, and I finally got a trailer of my own to haul the tractor.
Hey, quick question. How did you diagnose the link vs a bushing?
I heard the links will cause noise. Just an educated guess, I guess. It worked out and was my noise.
I don't know why, but the part that you decided to over tighten the washer cracked me up. Thank you for this helpful installation video!
Thank you! I do tend to over tighten everything.
At 1:10. What did you do with the yellow hose?
It is connected to the vacuum pump that is running.
@@mikesworld60 Ok.
OK thank❤
Torque spec on those is really low like 18-30 ft-lbs.
Thanks!
Thanks for the video. I assumed it couldn't be the switch since the headlights were working. I figured it must be a bad ground somewhere. Since I am not good with tracking down electrical problems I am going to give this a shot. I'll let you know.
@@tracycovey1727 Thanks, hope it works out for you
If you're using it for a corner post or to hold a gate, dig it 36" and widen the hole.
Good idea.
You have a lot of projects going on there buddy. That tractor/backhoe build was very well done.
Thanks Wyatt, I'm keeping busy and happy that my crappy welds are holding up.
That is a nice upgrade to the property.
It sure is. Been working on getting this done since last fall.
I wish I could do this. My breadmaker does not use a retaining ring; instead the shaft is mushroomed out over the part that engages with the breadmaker
sorry to hear that.
Front brakes locked up? Might not have been completely on its own power, but you got it to move!
Turns out 4x4 not working other tires were stuck in the ground. we jacked up each tire and the brakes were not locked but it still could not move on its own until we got the passenger rear tire out of its hole.
What if i buy a new compressor is it necessary to add peg oil ?
The new compressor will come with instructions. Sometimes it will tell you to empty out oil it is shipped with and add your new oil. But the compressor should have manufacture instructions.
How much did you spend in parts total ?
I'm sorry I don't remember. When I did it I priced everything online thought Napa and Oreilly's.
It is important to clean a lot of the system if it had r12 in it. One guy that did ac told me you aint gotta change nothing on it just take out the freon and put refrigerant in it and itll work. They taught me ac and well and the science side of it and thats a big no no also to mix oils and refrigerant too. Pag and mineral oil if it does mix reacts horribly and makes a goo in the system. That will ruin it also if you do just charge it 134a doesn't move the oil as well if i remember right and that can run the compressor dry and also ruin it from lack of lubrication.
Also quite like happy that well.... Chevy like was smart enough to have the orfice tube serviceable. Great thing too if that does go bad and you dont need a whole brand new line or something.
Well... For me im working on a 98 sonoma.. it is 134a but im replacing everything because now I don't trust it because the the compressor made a ton of racket and yeah the orfice tube did not look pretty. Wish me luck doing all of that to make it work again. Im actually gonna rip apart the compresor see what the heck happened.
I used the ester oil because it is compatible with mineral and pag oil. This way if I did not get all the mineral oil out of the system it would not cause problems. I replaced all the parts except the evaporator and the compressor since the system had been inoperable for years. Probably should have done the compressor at that time. It is still working good today. Good Luck.
@@mikesworld60 that.. that's the other oil I forget about where you can do that too I gotta flush mine now because of the racket mine made and the possible dirt or trash it has in it and it sent it through the system now. Bleh, annoying but yeh I also never knew actually how it was going to run too tho. The previous owner told me that the AC never worked and even he said the owner before him never fixed it either. So it's been like that without a charge for a WHILE I've been actually trying to ask people how theirs in their s10s or Sonomas with the 4 cylinder ac compressor sounds like. No one ever got back to me on that actually, sad. Tho I know they really shouldn't sound like a gun lol. But thanks I will need it for when everything comes in and I fix mine.
I had a friend Dat hauled a 340 timber jack On a 3 axle trailer with a 3/4 ton Chevy an no problems 😅😅😅
The last of the Chevy trucks
Thanks for posting about us - we're glad it worked well for you!
It's a great product, I use it all the time.
Thank you for sharing. My Kubota B5000 doesn't come with the block for hydraulic connections, planning to cut the existing pipe for connection. Anyway, your video really helped me. Appreciated for your sharing 😁
Glad it helped!
Well done. Small sections at a time wins the game. That bucket truck sure comes in handy.
Thanks! I tried to get as much weight off before I dropped it. The branches were still over 12" in diameter near the top and it was heavy on the side near the fence. I enjoy taking them down, but the cleanup is not so much fun.
Hi, can you make a video specifically on your front loader? I am curious on how to connect the hydraulic valves to existing hydraulic pump, and also the position of mount for the loader arm. Plan to add front loader on my Kubota B5000
I will see what I can do. Are you subscribed so you can see when I put one up?
@@mikesworld60 Yeah I subscribed your youtube channel, hope to learn more about the hydraulic system, thank you very much 😀
That was the dumbest video ever
I have a whole channel full of dumb videos. Thanks for watching!
Should let me borrow it so everyone can see what would happen to my 88 Scottsdale if I tried that.
I'm sure it would do just fine.
@@mikesworld60 yeah, it probably would. But I sure wouldn't bet on it. It's kind of a miracle that it still drives at all. It is extremely salt-damaged. I once towed three yards of ¼" limestone chips with my '88 YJ. You should've seen everyone gawking when I was leaving the gravel yard. It did make it home but it tore two leaf spring main eye brackets probably when I had to hard brake. I drove it for years before I fixed that 😁
It was as strong as it could be. That attachment never got to it!
built like a rock!
yeah cause all they do is sit like rocks
That's only a small piece of a backhoe.
It is a 1970's model 33 backhoe. It fits a 70's Case 580 which does not always have a backhoe or loader on it. So technically it is a backhoe attachment, but it is a backhoe.
This looked way too much fun!!!
yes, It's fun to see what the roots do when you pull on them.
My 1993 E 150 conversion van needs a filler neck hose. Might as well do the evap too like you did. Thank you!
I did another one on my 1994 e250 van and this time I went to a marine store and got the marine grade hose. The hose I showed in this video may not last long. They are expensive crap. The marine fuel hose was not cheap, but it will last a lifetime instead of a year or two.
@@mikesworld60 I'd rather pay more now. I'm gonna look for the marine. Good info, thx!
Can't find a marine filler hose for my 1993 E 150. Would you have a link you could share where I could buy one? Thank you!
@@theonemodifier I bought mine from Fisheriessupply.com www.fisheriessupply.com/trident-marine-type-a2-fuel-fill-hose-corrugated-wire-reinforced-series-329/329-1126 Item ID: HOS 329-1126 I just bought the proper length of this bulk hose.

Having the same issue. Did you diagnose the problems for yours?
Yes, it turned out to be both front calipers were the problem.
