Batanes, Philippines / a short snippet from our trip
Found old clips on my hard drive - these were from our trip to The Batanes Islands last 2018. In this video, we happened to pass by a fishing village, we didn't have a plan - just checking out the place and watching the locals do their thing. It was all very interesting, so we decided to shoot some random clips. I didn't own a gimbal at the time, so all the clips here are just casual hand-held shots and manual focusing.
This was shot on my old Sony A7s Mark ii running 8-bit 1080p. I was using a manual lens called the Voigtlander Nokton 50mm/1.5 aspherical - which was adapted to Sony from my ancient camera called the Leica M9-P.
My brother Jigz shot all the drone footage because I had zero idea on how to fly a drone in 2018. It was only after this trip, and after seeing how useful they can be, that I decided to learn how to fly and build drones. LOL
Special thanks to ChatGPT for helping me with the script, and the voice is an AI cloned voice of the great sir David Attenborough. Edited in Davinci Resolve

@@greencreative1572 just use a long exposure of 1 second or more. Open the shutter for more than 1 second. The longer the time you give the longer the light streak becomes.
