On note of Obols, i checked out out how much construction obols increased building speed, and it is extremely for me. full set of construction obols netted me less than 2%. (on that DK) Also don't mining/chopping/fishing/catching round obols get outmatched by their respective stat obol in late game? i might be wrong, not sure if i have tested

Events before this were all guaranteed to drop the name tag after a certain amount of presents opened. Even gem amount seems alot lower. Idk, it does kinda feel like a slap in the face. I personally dont care anymore as im far enough into the endgame. Just leaves a sour taste that lava continues to go down this heavy rng route and hes blatantly doing it for the money. I still enjoy the shit out of this game, as it is simply the best idle/grinder game around though, so oh well.

Events are supposed to be FUN.. They're supposed to be a thank you to the players. He has somehow managed to ruin events by adding fomo and monetization. It's very disappointing!

Yeah the game went full P2W when pets came out, since then it's been a year long streak of weaponizing FOMO. The most recent event making it even more clear considering that the previous event's bonuses aren't available for purchase. I skipped the equinox bonus last time because I had it maxed out(same with the penguins), now that it's relevent again well... Tough shit, now I'll be MONTHS behind at the very least so ofc players will spend to make sure they have all 4 bonuses. I got lucky and got 4 of the name tags with the one gem 10 spins and the one spin a day but it still leaves a sour taste in my mouth. All of this for not so weekly updates, more like a fundraiser than a fun christmas event.

As a pay to win player, I have no issue to pay to get quality of life upgrades or boost ingame (as it help finance future development and I think this game is awesome so lava deserve the money)but I hate the "loot box/gambling" model. From everything you can buy in this game so far, I'd say that these event + pets are the most annoying Fomo mechanics and I really hope lava would stay away from these type of monetization systems in the future. Also, as many people said, most mmorpg games have holidays event and such but they are accessible for everyone from the new playing staring today to the 5 years veteran player and normaly everyone that show up for these can unlock everything the event have to offer. Putting a paywall on top of RNG system create very happy people that get everything they want and sour players that either don't plan on spending or did spend but got super unlucky RNG. In the end, this create useless fomo and unhappy players where these kind of event should be the kind of thing that everyone is glad they were here to participate in. I did purchased like 100 extra spin and barely was able to unlock everything from this even bonus (considering I had a 30 left over from last event) and now I'm at like 40 extra for the next event. Yet, I didn't got top 1 spin reward and just hope I might get it from the daily spin by the end of the event. But yeah it's really frustrating while again, it's not mandatory in any shape or form like any other spending in this game so I can live without having it.

I spent like 10k on spins and i was there everyday to get the free spin but STILL didnt got the nametag and on discord i see people pulling 2 tags f2p this is just bulshit lava should do a pitty like we had 30 days time if you got 20 spins it will gurantee you a tag but maybe im wrong i just want 1!!!!! tag

As a F2P player (with autoloot) I don’t care where other people are in the game. I enjoy playing the game my way. However, during the event I got the snowman nametag and unlocked pocket divinity. Holy crap, I can see now how the p2w players have it so easy, and why they get lazy. They don’t have to work to get better.

i have only spent money on autoloot and actually liked this event. I got the 20% afk gains, the good name tag and storage slots. The free gems everyday have helped me buy more printer slots and upgrade my forge a little.

I am a F2P player, so at the end of the day, I will never catch up to those who spends. As for the upgrades so far, I got pretty lucky and fell on the 10pts once and 5pts twice. I grabbed the villager EXP and the AFK gains, and I'll probably let the printer multi go past me unless I miraculously get the 45 points for it. I might also add that I view this game as a single player game and I don't bother comparing myself to others. Although your IE reviews are super useful since I might have missed some things.

I honestly don't get "events" in this game. They're all unbound randomness with no intention of giving the rewards to people who show up every day for it.

How does a person get "locked out of stamps"? I've heard this on videos before but nobody really clarifies what that means or how I can avoid it. So much content aimed at endgame accounts. New players like me are lost.
