brother, thanks , may Allah give you best reward for giving use so informative videos, love you
The footprint you used for switch is not in my footprint library. I am using kicad 8.01 Is it normal to not have some footprints in different versions?
Yes sometimes, but most of the time they will remain the same. Can you point out which footprint you are talking about?
@@pcbcupid the CuK one. When you opened its image, I managed to find a really similar one in appearance. The only difference I noticed were the names of the footprints
great explanation at 5.33 foot print 🤣
😂😂😂
Could deffo do with one of these at the moment 😂
best video.
Add this to Onshape pros: minimal graphic card needed ... thank you 👍
My teacher recommended your for videos for learning pcb design. When you explained the buttons on the left, some of them are not shown and the bar has way more buttons too. I downloaded kicad 8.0.5. Is it the problem? Edit: Never mind, I solved the problem
purush to purush hee rahenge😅🤣 5:34
bro hele me i want to creat a pcb bord
please go through the complete video and post your questions here : forum.pcbcupid.com
Not to nitpick, but... your connections were not the same before and after you eliminated all the explicit wires. Look at the connections to pin 7 and 3 of the ATTiny85.
Thank you, you just gained a subscriber ❤
Yay! Thank you!
i know its a promotional video but free cad is way easier than this and it is open source.
Hi, this is not a promotional video. The only reason we used this because of the UI which makes it completely easy for new users. But we are waiting for FreedCAD 1.0 which is will definitely make it the best choice for open source project.
Amazing 😍
Thank you! Cheers!
does the pcb come wth the components or you buy them separately....also i had an enquiry.. dont have a circuitry, i want to design a ciircuit before making the pcb, can you design a circuit given the main components and include missing components in the circut if mising..
Nerd
Love the video man, very useful !
Glad it was helpful!
good explanations thanks mate
Glad it helped
Is F.Cu layer of Vcc and the B.Cu layer of GND makes the capacitance in the PCB? . . . If i created the F.Cu layer of Vcc fill and the B.Cu layer of GND fill, then the upper side is vcc and the lower side is gnd then there is probability of capacitance is induce, can you say is ok for mini projects and this is not recommendation for frequency and clock related projects? what if i can fill both the layers with vcc? what if i can fill both the layers with gnd?
In this case it's already recommended to fill both side with GND. I would never suggest to go with alternative fill on top and bottom if it's a 2 layer board.
why nobody is talking about 27:12 ? loooooooooooooooooooooooool
It is! Those value were just for reference, if the current is less you can go with whatever the least values manufacturers provide
Hi sir I have gone through all your kicad design stuff. Worth watching. Contains more knowledge than what I need. Thank you so much sir. Kindly do some tutorials on PCB design using OrCAD too.
Thank you glad you liked the videos, soon will be making videos related Altium, maybe in the future possibly even OrCAD.
@@pcbcupid Thank you for your response sir. Eagerly waiting for Altium videos.
Hello, I’ve read this tutorial 2: How To Make IP5306 Battery Management Circuit Looking at referred datasheet there is a slight difference with the datasheet on the official site. Note that pin 6 (BAT sensor), in the official site document, is connected to the battery through resistor R4. But in the datasheet used in this tutorial pin 6 (BAT) is connected directly to the battery. Also, the values of of C2, C7 and R4 are not exactly the same. I’ve designed a handheld device that uses the ip5306 according to the schematic of the official document. (ESP32+RFIDSensor+IP5306). Everything works fine except the battery sensing. LED 4 (Full 100%) never stops blinking while charging. LEDs wiring is OK and battery is OK (fully charged on another charger). My questions are, -where was this datasheet obtained from? -this difference in wiring could be the cause of the problem? I ordered the printing of 5 PCBs and I need to fix the error before printing again. Thanks in advance, Osmany
We got most of our datasheet from LCSC, please cross reference once with that.
Cant find the project file in ur github
github.com/pcbcupid/Kicad-7-Series
Your video is unuseful...blurry and confused. Patience
Is KiCad a free software?
Yes , its free
I'm waiting impatiently for you to upload the video. I wonder when you will upload it?
keep doing bro🙌
Thank you, we will release more soon!
Great videos.
Glad you like them!
As a professional PCB designer, I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to get comfortable with constraints. Not just from a DFM perspective, being able to define electrical spacing rules between nets like differential pairs to noisy power nets or minimum copper thicknesses for high speed traces is a powerful tool in keeping your designs clean and ready for build. Constraints are even more important when working in an org as it plainly communicates your intent with your routing work. It’s something my peers struggle with and it shows on their designs. Traces loosely routed, missed net class-class spacing violations, messy and inefficient routing, and confusing unexplained routing choices to name a few. If you want to do PCB design professionally, being able to confidently describe your circuit in terms of constraints will put you leagues ahead of your fellow designers.
How did you rotate the symbol on a 45? I can't seem to find an angle option for symbols in preferences.
How to program the master node? There is no programming port present.
You need to use a FTDI module, please check the schematic on github for more insight.
sir, isnt 1A so much for 3.3v clock battery
Thank you
You're welcome
Thanks, exactly the explanation I needed
Glad it was helpful!
worth for spending 2 hrs
Glad it was helpful!
When I download some designs from GrabCAD, it says that the file is "read only" and I can't save it. How can I solve this?
Please try to download only STP or Step file. Other format not work on kicad
How to auto route in single layer board?? I'm tired to searching the solution
Thank you so much! I made my own potentiometer 3D model with your help, THANK YOUUU!!!!!!

You're very welcome!
Very well chosen topic and explanation. Because of you, we could cut our PCB cost by a third!
Glad it was helpful!
Sir i cant able to route properly as while im keeping left click its automatically giing some more distance...i cant able to point the track exactly and routins is not smooth...
Please take a look at routing settings.
