18:31 That's interesting. It's a Bajo Quinto made from the ground up, but what happened here was that back then they didn't have Bajo Quinto Tuners. So they just used Bajo Sexto Tuners & used only 10 of them that were needed.

Bajo Quinto is a great instrument for playing Obekrainer Music

A lot of old European archtops had their pickguard brackets made from the same pickguard material, bent into shape (very retro!). There would be plenty of spare from your sheet.

Way back in the day, my parents were on their way to Mexico for vacation and I told my mom please please get me one of those super big fat guitar-looking things that have like 10 or more strings that the Mariachi bands have god I was enamoured with the acoustic bass kind of thing I thought it was, it was before Google so I couldnt just instantly find out what it was, or unfortunately how much they tended to go for; far too many pesos senior. So, I never did get my hands on one of those, I imagine they are related somehow to this Bajo Quinto, but the ones Im thinking of are bigger and have like a sloped back- my mom said they were called, "guitarino" but I thought that sounded like a "little guitar" like, "nino" .....Ya know? Good to see ya again Ken! Ive done three refrets on my own guitars now and I feel like Ive done a pretty good job of it, thank goodness for youtube of course!!
