I rescued a cattledog/heeler two months ago and boy does she like to use her mouth when she plays. They said she’d be a mouth breed and I knew that going into it. She likes to get my attention by wrapping her mouth around my wrists and does it when we play in the house. No pressure with her teeth and she’s never left a trace or broke skin, it’s like she’s hold my hand 😂 which she does when we’re chilling and I’m giving her rubbins. She’ll wrap her front paw around my arm if I try to stop.

I'm curious if there's a way to sterilize rabbits while young before you sell them? I ask this because I tried rabbits a couple years ago. I had about 7 rabbits, 2 bucks and 5 females. And NONE of them could ever breed. I tried changing them around and mixing things up. I also was careful on feed, water, and shade. And they had safe environments. But over the course of a year I couldn't get any of the does pregnant. I wonder if some sellers are messing with them somehow because they should have been able to get pregnant. I no longer have rabbits because someone put a noise complaint in with the city about my rabbits and they came down on us. No joke. I think people also shouldn't tell their neighbors they have animals because there's a tendency for people to get jealous and cause trouble. This is absolutely what I've experienced. Some people if they see you have something and they can't do it they just can't handle it and melt down and cause trouble for no reason. But at some point when things have died down and people have forgotten about it I'd like to try again with rabbits or other stuff.

Thanks for the video. Not many people do videos on turkeys or even talk about their traits. So they are interesting. But there's a big knowledge gap than other poultry. I'm curious if a turkey rooster will protect its hens like how a chicken rooster does? Or how they compare with feed requirements. And is them needing feed help only in the chick stage , or all the way up till grown? Are they quiet enough that you could have them with neighbors and not have them hear or notice them?

I accidentally stumbled upon these same realizations. I got 2 turkeys just so I could say I grew my thanksgiving dinner. It was so easy and we got so much meat from just the 2 I’m nixing my idea of the Cornish cross for next year and just upping my turkey game!

Perfect canine companion for active outdoorsy people who either hike/camp and/or fish n hunt. I'm 42 and I'm retired. I'm Native American. I spend all my time outside. My dog is by my side 24/7/365. ACD are tough. Brave. Adaptive to any climate hot or cold. Their coats are water proof. Just an amazing breed.

Hello , ive subscribed to your channel because I like your way of doing things. Hoping that you can help me out with an answer on here. Im not good with technology so not sure how to talk to you on any other format ? If thats the word for it ? My girl " Bobbi" im super sure she is half blue heeler, she is everything I' ve heard or read. She gorgeous. What a treat she is. Vet n I believe she is 9 months. I drove from Ca to TX to give her a home, not knowing much about her. She was found along with her brother out in the country. I could see she was possibly heeler n border collie mix. So you know how pretty she is. Long story long ! Lol Lives with me n sister, has been to many places , has many dog friends but not in the same town, so mostly just us 2. I give her plenty of exercise running and all. Um soo at beach one day I found out she is extremely territorial ! I put up a beach tent and we were never even got in it , but a passing dog went in and she came a running to tell it" GET THE HELL OUT" !!! Next, I gave a ride to a family with a pup and she saw RED ! Went ballistic ! So I do know now what she is, A blue for sure. So my sis is babysitting a neighbors dog ( apple head Chihuahua) wait , is that really a dog ?? Lol ,so of course its not cool with the Texas twister ! Can I do anything to calm the beast ? I hate to have to keep the apple in one room for a months time. Its dangerous to try anything. Anyone can put in their 2 cents just dont put me down plz., Thanks maybe just a video I can watch or something. Anything.

You must realize that they are one person dogs, although they will tolerant your mate and friends. This is not a dog/human relationship. It is a human/human relationship at least in their mind. Their minds are always going 90 miles an hour and you have to give them a job or they will get in trouble. I let mine sleep in my bedroom on the floor. One theory is that you are the alpha dog and your bedroom is seen as the alpha dogs den. They will do anything to secure and maintain that slot. The last thing they want to do is jeprodize that privilege as it means that they must be the number 2 dog in the pack, right? You gotta have at least one of these creatures just to see if you like them.

Please, if you live in a city or even town, these dogs will suffer, will jump over six feet fence, huge barkers, and are jealous of strange dogs trying to interact with their pack/owners. That's what they are breed for.

Great overview! They are indeed the willful beast (AKA Heeler Monsters). ❤️ Had five over the last 21 years (three at present), the only breed I've ever had as an adult. One of mine at present is the best NAPPER ever, and contrary to all "active" Heeler lore they still are all individuals.

Would like you guys to check these links out think you and your Dogs will find it helps you both. They should not be killing small animals, many Aussies have them as I do have never come across one that kills small animal, Mice, Rats, Snakes are about it, Never have them Crated. Have put in few links as think some tips from those who have bread and trained Heeler & Kelpies here will I hope. So many Americans misunderstanding them as too many are ending up in shelters makes us down here very sad. The Crates are only used on Farms and Stations when where Dogs are not kept inside the home, were only introduced for traveling. They have their own quarters on some places. When full time working dogs. ua-cam.com/video/b3PjTYEr-0Q/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/yF6kWMHKrEc/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/R7vooCTv9iQ/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/DBRTg7ok5yQ/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/TgU65DHVgJ0/v-deo.html Some of these are Kelpies training is same, ua-cam.com/video/YGcDVC6Zo3o/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/ljLvxKsIgXQ/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/VkF3xSu_rrE/v-deo.html m.facebook.com/abc/videos/2002574896509821/ ua-cam.com/channels/8SpWPPr2hKg6E-OYoEyX_Q.htmlvideos ua-cam.com/video/5yVJ4tCFXNA/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/BbV2EepA6FU/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/IKhLzDLmHE0/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/t3ID8dJGGOE/v-deo.html A Heeler will not tear your Yard up nor do any destruction to your house if you leave them alone if you stimulate them enough, Try using PVC Pipes to construct backyard agility course, can also put a drum on, we use empty plastic painters tubs ones Painters use are large size, a big Office size water container works, put holes in it only very slightly bigger than Dogs Fav Dry Food, then thread trough pipe or wire so will rotate, have it up high enough for Dog to have to put some effort into accessing it, Heelers and Kelpies do not like things to be easy. This is just one of the many things you can set up, like hanging Some fun things up on trees in yard items that they like, they are great at Frisbee and helps burn energy. They need 3 hours of off leash fast exercise be it game or agility, run them along side your M/ bike or P/Bike I had mine trained to run in the bush with my little SUV still do same with my Kelpie and you must give the puzzles to solve,

Actually heelers, lead from the face. That's what's the jumping is about. They jump up and bite at face as well as staring down the cattle . Unlike border collies that lead from the back.

I took her into the vet and she popped the scale at a smudge over 70 lbs an she aint fat she can run like the wind but everything you said is very true..super loyal..super stubborn can be super aggressive..great problem solvers they just need heaps of excersice and things to stimulate their mind
