The main antigenic targets for lupus anticoagulants are the phospholipid-binding proteins prothrombin and beta2GPI rather than phospholipid per se. Prothrombin directed LA bind to prothrombin and then compete with FXa for phospholipid binding sites, acting as competitive inhibitors, whilst beta2GPI directed LA inhibit activation of FV by FXa, but only at limited phospholipid concentration. Consequently, both types of LA are (usually) overwhelmed/swamped by the high phospholipid level in confirmatory reagents.

Il y a 2 semaine de là, mon cardio-vasculaire a détecté après 2 fois atteint d’une trombe, elle a détectée un lupus anticoagulant positif. Hors je dois refaire les analyses du sang car quand j’ai fais la première fois les analyses du sang, j’utilise mes Xareltos. Deuxième question, si les deuxièmes analyses seront aussi positif, que dois je faire? y-a-il un traitement ou un médicament contre le lupus anticoagulant positif dus sang?

I have had 2 episodes of DVT and 1 PE but no one could figure out the reason for a long time. I too was diagnosed after a stroke, 1 month before my 41st birthday. How are you managing your APS now?
