You don't show what the yarns are doing at the back of the work. Could you demonstrate this working as a thrower or show which colour is over or under when you knit the yarn over together with first stitch. I have tied so many times, and I feel it must have something to do wth the yarn placement. A

Beginner knitter here! I hope u reply to this. How is your first stitch in the middle of the needle? like when i do my magic loop my last and first stitch are obviously split up into my two needles. What technique of joining in the round is that? I really am not being able to wrap my head around this 😭😭

l am a very, let's say, particular knitter and have avoided stripes in the round but have to say yours is the cleanest colour change l have seen! l can finally make those striped heel less socks!! Thank you for your clear, concise tutorial!

Why touch these threads so many times? You should still start with the tutorial on how to link the color change between your own, so that the change is not visible on the other color. There would be no need for such a long introduction!

Wow!!! This Bullseye method of doing one colour stripes is absolutely brilliant! Brilliant not only in the finished product, but absolutely brilliant in the simplicity of the technique! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I have watched so many convoluted videos (some even bordering on arrogance, I'm sorry to say) where people have over-engineered this very simple striping effect. I am such a happy knitter right now! Again - many thanks for a very friendly and straight forward video of your amazingly simple bullseye striping technique! I have been knitting for about 65 years (I'm 71 now) and I am always looking for ways to improve my knitting. I am now a dedicated subscriber to your UA-cam channel! :)

I must be doing something wrong, or the knitting gods are screwing with me because I keep trying this method, but still wind up with a jog. I don't get it

I’m not sure how I have missed you on UA-cam for Jogless Stripes, but my goodness! this is the best method I have come across in the past 7 years!! Very understandable spoken direction and very clear video!! Thank you for your time and instruction! I knit Vintage Christmas Stockings in the the round with Intarsia work (I took this up for family members after my Mom passed and bequeathed me her pattern/graphs). I’m not a fan of seaming so have tweaked and re-tweaked my methods over the past dozen years or so. This method for loose end jogless stripes is definitely a game changer for me, along with the jogless cast on. I knit the stockings top down and have never been a fan of how the circular join looked, even fiddling with it, I wasn’t having great success. I was almost there when I viewed your method!! At least I feel like I was heading in the right direction!! So, thank you for putting it together for me!! I am looking forward to viewing more of your tutorials!! Your techniques are very different from the ones I've seen before. I have a large knitting library, and I peruse UA-cam all the time, but your methods are unique and WONDERFUL.

I use a similar method, but less complicated. I knit one round with the new color, up through the next-to-the-last stitch on that round. Next I slip the last stitch from that first round over to the left needle, next to the first stitch of that round. Then I knit those first two stitches together and slip the K2tog stitch back over to the right needle, where it then becomes the last stitch of the first round. Next I start knitting the second round and work one M1 increase a few stitches in, to bring the stitch count back up to the correct number. Then I continue knitting the second round and any subsequent rounds needed with the new color. This method does as good a job as any at minimizing the jog, and it does not leave a hole in the work as some jogless methods do. So many of the jogless fixes I have tried often look worse than the jog itself. I think Arne & Carlos have a point when they recommend doing nothing about jogs.

I e used all the other methods, it only just came across this one with your video! So GLAD I found this! Especially since I’m trying to knit single and double rows for colour changes.
