Hello, I’m glad I found your channel. I have purchased this pattern a few years back and I’m doing a bit of research. You look stunning the dresses you made are I agree that you look very professional in them. I am thinking of making a ankle length version of the red one I a silk taffeta with a back slit to wear as a mother of the groom dress. Do you think the silk tafeta will work with this design? I realise I two t bras soft and as drapey as yours rather. Any thought?

Question. Is there a way to see the hem of the bottom of the dress on the machine.. Leave a gap to turn the lining and then just slip stitch 6-7 inches? Many thanks Nillie for your excellent tutorials.

Thank you so much for sharing this method. I have never seen it before but I prefer it over the burrito method. Do you think it would work for a fully lined dress with lined sleeves that has a sleeve placket? I have to line the sleeves because the brocade fabric is a bit scratchy next to the skin. Any recommendations?

I didn't understand how you did the lining to the sleeves and turn itbout

Could you dub soft music where there is currently sewing machine noise?

I don’t understand when you say attach the lining to the outer fabric.Do you not attack the lining to the inside of the dress not the outside.

I bought this pattern after watching this - very inspiring. I especially love the Ikea dress. :) I think I like the short sleeves even better than the longer sleeves, thought they're great too. Like the idea of the silk slip and the silk lining. BTW the camouflage dress is gorgeous but I don't think the colours suit you as well as the others. Maybe you need something bright red or yellow with it?

I downloaded the pattern. I have a fabric “Feeling Groovy” that is perfect for it. Planning to sew it in a week or sew. The buttons will be fabric covered buttons (flowers from the fabric).exciting!

Forgot to say that while I would like to lose my pregnancy weight ASAP, it is not a priority as my focus is to produce enough milk for my daughter. I feel truly blessed that my daughter is happy and healthy. 😘😘😘

Happy Mother’s Day Billie! So amazing to see you again. Please don’t worry about the weight gain/loss when nursing as nursing requires a lot of calories. I too gained 50 pounds (was quite worried at first) with my baby and lost all plus extra due to nursing and the daily exercise of carrying around a growing tot! You will have great arms sooner than you think, 😅! ❤❤❤❤❤
