    How well do such structures hold up to seismic loads? I imagine their wind loads are quite impeccable, but some live in places where they must account for both wind and seismic.

      Absolutely beautiful work, though! I love that old techniques are still being used, especially on remodels of old buildings. It looks natural for the remodeled buildings, as though it was always there from the beginning.

    • @earthnhand
      @earthnhand 7 місяців тому

      I believe you'll want to consult an engineer. It depends on the loads. Domes and vaults are inherently very strong, but reinforcement can be used for seismic zones. Where Ramon is located in Oaxaca there are some significant quakes, and I am sure he is designing for that condition but I don't know the methods he uses to achieve that. You can reach him through IBOMEX.COM

    OH so gravity is a bit like when you get "Feedback" in a microphone... With audio feedback the sound goes out the speaker, back into the mic, then out the speaker louder, then back into the mic, and out (there is your "recursivity") until the sound amplifies and gets so loud that it screeches and hurts peoples ears, but with gravity, it's not making sound louder, it's making the (recursive) implosion toward center, continue to get stronger and causing things close to earth to fall to the ground.. and so (this has nothing to do with the microphone feedback analogy, but) also,, I'm guessing that force of gravity would be a little lower the further you get from the center of the Earth?? So until charge turns its attention toward an object.. perhaps the gravity of that object is less, and perhaps when you meditate on a spot in your body, you are using your mind to direct charge to that point and by holding your attention you attract more and more charge

    Why using gravel foundation if the earthberm acts as a giant moisture bridge?

    • @earthnhand
      @earthnhand Рік тому

      It could. But I don't think it does. We use gravel to make a barrier against vertical water movement up into the bottom of the wall. The amount of water moving up into the wall through the berm is negligible because the berm is covered by plastic that slopes to drain 20 ft out from the wall and is covered by more soil.
