This is the waterfall right off of trail14 at Royal Blue Offroad in Pioneer, Tn. It is visible from the trail but requires a short hike to get to the edge, and some climbing to get to the bottom. Definitely worth going to see. This is not a stream fed fall, but rainwater runoff, so it may not be running in dry times.

    Thanks. Worked. That back screw is hard to reach. Needed a ratchet attached with a T20. Once I got that, smooth sailing. Strangely, I had pine needles in the blower motor which sounded like crickets. The filter isn’t that air tight and debris gets through.

    This is how I just did mine. I got the part on Amazon. They range from $35-60. I paid about $45 for the highest rated one that matches my vehicle. Came in a few days, I used my trim tool, a drill, the star bit, and a 90 degree adaptor for the drill to get at the back screw. 30 minutes and done. I have a warranty and they would cover it but it would take me the back and forth drive and time and scheduling. This took 30 minutes and $45 and now I’m done! It blows with no rattle. 2015/16 town and country s model.

    Literally 2 minutes to take out, 2 more to reinstall. In my case there was debris in the fan causing terrible vibration. Cleaned it out and oiled the the motor bearings, now it sounds like it did when new. Thanks for the expert advise on removing it without taking apart half of the dash!

    I just did this job in 15 degree fahrenheit weather. Weirdest thing. The motor had been making slight but annoying squeaks for quite some time, but yesterday, my wife said it was howling. I got a new motor locally, and started the job when my wife got home from work. When I pulled down the old blower, There was a 2016 Jeep Cherokee key on a clear 5" long tag with a yellow dealer stock tag attached. I have no idea how it got there. The tag was acting like baseball cards in your bike wheel spokes. Anyway, since I couldn't feel what I was doing because of numb fingers, the job took an hour. No way do I want my wife driving without heat in January in Northern Illinois.

    My front blower takes 5-10 minutes of driving to start blowing air regularly. The rear blower starts immediately. After it kicks in I can adjust the speed without issue. Do you all think this is the blower motor?

    • @LudicrousSpeedBusa
      @LudicrousSpeedBusa 3 роки тому

      I would try tapping on the blower lightly with something hard. If it starts running, then yes, I'd replace the blower. If not, it could be a bad connection somewhere

    THANKS, LudicrousSpeedBusa! This was a big help! two weeks ago my front blower motor failed. (The rear blower continued working, and my kids all suddenly decided they weren't so eager to sit in the front.) After watching one of those other videos (and ordering the trim-puller tool) I found your video and gave it a try. Worked great! These notes might benefit others: 1. Remember to move the feat as far back as it will go. 2. Disconnect the wires first. Those wires aren't designed to bear weight. 3. If you're a big guy (or just fat, like me), getting in and out can be a challenge. 4. This is not a job for the claustrophobic among us. I'm fat, but I was able to get in there and remove it. Then I climbed out to take a break. My ever-helpful 14-year-old daughter volunteered to install the new one. Before I let her take over, I pushed the xmas-tree retainer clip into place, and gently hand-tightened one of the torx screws to keep it from falling. Then I climbed out and let my daughter take over. She put the other two screws in place, then tighten all three, and finally plug in the power connector. Perhaps not your typically daddy-daughter project, but when I turned on the A/C and felt the cool air blowing on us, we both enjoyed the satisfaction that comes with the knowledge of a job well-done.

  • @williamk.470
    @williamk.470 3 роки тому

    Just so you know, the shortcut works well, but it took me 3.5 hours to complete this 5 minute job not counting the 45 minutes running after the part. Keep in mind I'm 73 years old and have to rest a bit but those damn screws are a PIA. Lining up the new one was also a PIA. I recommend wedging a 2x4 under the new fan motor and the floor to hold it in place 'til you get the screws started. Glad that job is over.

    • @steveklein
      @steveklein 3 роки тому

      Unless you have three hands, its hard to hold the motor, hold the screw, and hold the ratchet. The solution: Hold the motor in place while you hand-tighten 1 screw just 3 or 4 turns. That's enough to keep it from falling. Then get the other 2 screws started by hand. Finally, pick up the ratchet and tighten all three screws

    Hi! Thanks for the video! I recently purchased the VForce John kit for my 2020 t4! Any chance you can let me know what your tire and wheel setup is? Also are you running superatv a-arms and a lift? The kit I purchased came with the weights and springs exactly like you have in your video, however my weights are not setup like yours. Im running 30" AMS Mud Evils with a 2" super atv lift and control arms. I am thinking about tackling this job by myself, however I do not know how to setup my weights. Any input? Thanks in advance!

      Did John set your weights up for you? If he did then they should be pretty close to what you need. If not I would give him a call on recommendations, because mine did exactly what I wanted them to do so I never messed with adjusting them any further

    My blower fan has a loud hum when on a higher speed. Do you or anyone know why that is? Puts out air/heat just fine, but is a bit obnoxious when running on medium to high speed. Thanks in advance. Also I know nothing about cars, but this issue is driving me nuts! My fiancé has been out of town working for the past couple of months, and when he does get to come home he doesn’t find the time to check it out, lol. So I’m ready to “DIY” if I can! 2013 Chrysler T&C

      It could be the motor wearing out, or something as minor as dirt on the blower wheel making it unbalanced.

    I always recommend disconnecting electrical before removing the component just because I don't like putting weight on the wires. Also, I've found that a flathead screwdriver is pretty helpful for those fasteners. Anywho, time to go see why my blower doesn't come on sometimes. I'm thinking there's something wrong with the wires or the connection.
