Amen Hallelujah
Thank you Jesus
Lovely
😊
1:20:00 When Pst Phillip was talking about what the Lord wanted to do in Texas, I immediately remembered a prophecy about Texas by Ruth Heflin in 1990...I was reading about it just yesterday not even knowing this meeting was going to hold. The summary of the prophecy was that the revival that would saturate America would start right from Texas. When Texas becomes engulfed in the fires of revival, the rest of the nation would also experience it.
Our very own pastor Phillip. May God continue to order your steps sir. Thank you for your obedience and sacrifice. 😊
Hallelujah

My Notes: RCN DALLAS TX || THE PHILANTHROPY OF JESUS || PASTOR PHILIP GBIR || DEC. 20, 2024 Key Scriptures: Luke 8:4-15 - The Parable of the Sower. Isaiah 32:15 - "Until the Spirit is poured upon us from on high..." 1 Thessalonians 5:23 - The sanctification of spirit, soul, and body. Romans 8:1 - Walking in the Spirit vs. walking in the flesh. 1 Corinthians 2:11-12 - Accessing the thoughts of God through His Spirit. 1 Corinthians 6:17 - Unity with God’s Spirit: “He who is joined to the Lord is one spirit.” Matthew 4:4 - Living by the proceeding Word of God. Purpose: To awaken believers to the reality of their spiritual nature, equipping them to walk in the Spirit, resist the flesh, and align with God’s divine plans. Main Teachings 1. The Parable of the Sower (Luke 8:4-15) The Four Types of Soil: The Path: Represents hearts where the Word is snatched away by the devil before it can take root. The Rocky Soil: Represents those who receive the Word with joy but lack deep roots and fall away during trials. The Thorny Ground: Represents those who hear the Word but are choked by life's worries, riches, and pleasures, preventing maturity. The Good Soil: Represents those with noble and good hearts who hear, retain, and persevere to produce fruit. Lesson: The seed is the Word of God, but the state of our hearts determines the fruitfulness of the Word. We must prepare our hearts as fertile soil, free from distractions and sin. Prayer Focus: Pray for God to till the soil of your heart, removing any obstacles preventing His Word from taking root. Ask for grace to persevere in producing spiritual fruit. 2. The Tripartite Nature of Man (1 Thessalonians 5:23) Body, Soul, and Spirit: Spirit: The realm of divine life and communion with God. Soul: The realm of emotions, intellect, and will. Body: The realm susceptible to fleshly or satanic influence. The Three Planes of Life: Divine Life: Found in the spirit. This is the life of God, where believers are called to dwell. Human Life: Found in the soul, marked by emotions, intellect, and personal decisions. Satanic/Fleshly Life: Found in the body, where fleshly desires and satanic influences operate. Takeaway: A believer’s most conscious realm of existence determines their spiritual outcome. Yielding to the spirit leads to divine life; yielding to the flesh leads to sin and defeat. 3. Walking in the Spirit (Romans 8:1) Key Insight: Walking in the Spirit requires daily, deliberate decisions to yield to God’s influence. It is not automatic. "There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk after the flesh, but after the Spirit." Practical Guidance: Choose the Spirit: Daily, ask yourself whether your actions and decisions reflect the Spirit of God or the desires of the flesh. Be aware of distractions: Recognise when emotions (soul) or desires (flesh) are attempting to pull you away from God's direction. Persevere: Walking in the Spirit may not always feel easy at first, but God supplies the grace necessary. 4. Accessing the Thoughts of God (1 Corinthians 2:11-12, 6:17) Union with God: "He who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him." Through this union, believers gain access to the divine thoughts of God. The Spirit of God searches the deep things of God and reveals them to us. Practical Application: Spend time in prayer and meditation, aligning your thoughts with God's thoughts. Seek God's perspective before making decisions, especially during trials. Trust the Holy Spirit to reveal God’s plans and thoughts in every area of life. Jesus’ Example (Matthew 4:4): Man does not live by bread alone, but by the proceeding Word of God. Believers must depend on God's continual revelation for spiritual nourishment. 5. Overcoming Spiritual Drought Recognising Spiritual Dryness: Symptoms include a lack of motivation in prayer, a sense of distance from God, or spiritual exhaustion. These are often caused by distractions, sin, or failure to yield to God’s Spirit. Solution: Examine your heart for blockages (e.g., unforgiveness, pride, or sin). Return to the basics of prayer, worship, and the Word. Trust that God’s Spirit within you is always flowing-remove blockages and let His life pour out. Illustrations and Testimonies 1. Historical Example: Maria Woodworth-Etter Maria Woodworth-Etter was a woman used by God in Dallas in the early 1900s. Her ministry was marked by supernatural experiences, such as trances and miraculous healings. Her legacy encourages modern believers, especially women, to yield to God and allow His Spirit to move powerfully through them. 2. Healing Testimonies from the Service Several attendees experienced physical healings, including: Back pain: Two women diagnosed with scoliosis and stenosis were healed of chronic back pain. Knee pain: Healed after prayer during the service. Spiritual renewal: A participant broke free from spiritual drought and experienced a fresh flow of tongues. Practical Applications Prepare Your Heart: Pray daily for God to remove distractions and sin from your life so that your heart can be fertile soil for His Word. Walk in the Spirit: Consciously yield to the Spirit in every decision and action. Engage in prayer, fasting, and the Word to stay aligned with God’s thoughts. Overcome Spiritual Drought: Address blockages that hinder the flow of the Spirit (e.g., distractions or sin). Return to the basics of faith: prayer, worship, and meditating on the Word. Embrace Revival: Pray for God’s Spirit to be poured out anew in your city and community. Be a vessel for God’s supernatural work, as demonstrated in the testimonies shared. My Key Takeaways The state of my heart determines whether God’s Word bears fruit in my life. Walking in the Spirit requires conscious decisions and daily alignment with God’s will. God has given me His Spirit, granting access to His thoughts, plans, and solutions for every challenge. Revival is not just a historical event-it is something God wants to do through His people today. Conclusion The sermon emphasised that revival begins in the heart. By preparing our hearts to receive God’s Word, walking in the Spirit, and yielding fully to Him, we allow His Kingdom to manifest in our lives and communities. The testimonies of healing and spiritual renewal during the service affirm God’s power and presence. Let us commit to walking in the Spirit daily and being vessels for His glory.
