You do a really good job with reviews. I like how you state the things that you like and don’t like about it. It makes for a very honest review. For example, mentioning how the higher trim level with the painted grill will look bad overtime due to rock chips. Most reviewers wouldn’t speak of such things.

Ordered on for myself, thought i would get bored of it so i ordered another model and convinced my mom to pick it up. The more i drive it the more i love it. Like you said, soooooo smooth and powerful. New steering is also light (maybe a smidge too light for my liking) but very direct. Everything about DRIVING this car is effortless…tech tho has a learning curve esp for someone my mom’s age. I order an m440i LCI xdrive convertible instead. Really excited what those updates bring to that car

I got the sequoia today TRD same color…… bro it kills my Silverado we were gonna get a Tahoe but all around this just kills it if you don’t have 3 or more kids and the drive is god mode!!!! Can’t even tell it’s hybrid. Unbelievable joy of a ride!

Interior looks cheap and tacky like the earlier generations that were ridden with crap interiors. Too bad because Mini had luxury quality in the 2014-2024 models. Now it looks like IKEA inside. The cloth dashboard will get dirty and dusty too. And the nose of the car and headlight look too goofy. Poor choices, Mini.

And the one dislike that takes precedence is 80k for it.

15:07: you can make the floor of the boot flat. The cover for the hidden compartment pops up and lays parallel with the rear seats folded down. I’m sure this new mini will still have that option like previous model years

Your HR-V with that 2.0 multi-port injection engine will most likely out live all the car company options you mentioned. Also research the safety of the other cars you mentioned. Trendy is not quality. I would stick with Honda HR-V over other brands with engines which blow, and transmission which implode. Looks wise the car you have is rather cool and will not look odd in a decade hence. I am thinking of a new car soon. CrossTrek 2.0 is something I may consider, Car is built in Japan. Their AWD is legendary.

Nice review - well done. I did get one of these for the reasons you mentioned. The ‘24 TRD Pro in Terra really is a good looking 4Runner, if I do say so. I picked up mine 5/11/24. Plan on keeping this one from now on. like the FJ Cruiser, I think it will become more valuable as time goes on. What Toyota has done to their successful line up of trucks and SUV’s is disheartening. They have killed the Tundra, the Sequoia, the Land Cruiser, the Tacoma and now the 4Runner with this drivetrain they are using. It’s sad. I bought my first Toyota, new in 1983 and have been a fan ever since, but this direction they are heading sucks. Again, that’s why I picked up a ‘24 TRD Pro in Terra now while it’s still available, but time is running out. Toyota seems to be “gearing down” on production of the 5th generation 4Runner. My Toyota dealership said that there are only 6 Pro’s in the SET Region as of 5/17.

If you want a bigger Prius then there you go. That being said I think it’s a great car but I wouldn’t look down on the accord just because you prefer the look of this. You should practice being more objective.

To answer your question, no. The legendary original Supra and its following generations, was made and manufactured in Japan. This new one is basically a z4 with Supra badges. The parts are mostly bmw parts, the platform is bmw, it’s even assembled in Austria, which means it isn’t even a Japanese car. Not hating, I LOVE the original Supra, it holds a permanent spot in my heart next to the R34, the WRX STi, and the Audi S5. This just seemed like a greedy cash grab and should’ve been done with way more respect to the legacy. Is it a slow car? No is it poorly designed? No. It’s a visually appealing car, and fun to drive, I don’t dislike it. but why give it its own name and legacy? Just my opinion.
