YO SIN TU AMOR NO SE VIVIR - LIVE BLACK NOTE
Louis Johnson plays bass on yhe studio version. Jeff+Louis=🔥
Please get more video of Jeff Porcaro playing in studio or anything you can THANKS
He always was so modest and said he could barely keep up those sixteenths. He did it like every day for years lol. He was the groove master.
Killer performance of everybody. Except the female singer.
Te amo toto !!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Over rated big deal
LOVE this. Who is the girl singing??
Ya no voy a pensar más 😏🎉,
Jeff's grooves could float a boat. He even spanks his crash cymbals with feel. RIP Maestro.
As Fagen said, he had that popping sound.
Michelle pfeiffer was his background singer. Lol

Jeff ....
Pity the female singer songs too much....
Jeff's groove is heavy
Rare lypsinc version😅
Looooooool
Jeff will always be my favorite drummer.
Steve Lukather in the shadows with that deadly rhythm part
30 years after rip jeff
On point. More voices are needed like this.
The year I discovered Marilyn Martin, on a blind purchase of her then recent album, This Is Serious, featuring many well known studio and touring musicians, but oddly, not one Toto member ;).
Marilyn was a powerhouse too!
This one has a little faster tempo. I think it’s Michael on the keyboard. Still pretty good though.
There's isn't enough video of Jeff Porcaro playing live on UA-cam 😩😭😭
... Amen
Yeah... We just have some Toto live show to watch...
He died ☹️
That’s no lie
Little to none with decent quality.
Ridiculous that the BV misses her cue. Come on 🤦♂️😂
Is that Laren Holly?
Jeff had that amazing deftness in his right hand. I asked him once about Mornin by Al Jareau that he played on. He said that track was first take. Beautiful artful drum performance. I asked him how he got his hands so strong. He said 'Awe my hands are shit man'! RRIGGHHTT!!
…hey Phil. Speaking of Al Jareau.. his live (only, I think) version of “Blue Skies” with Peter Erskine on drums was done on the first take. That’s according to Pete himself. Talk about smoking! 160bpm!
@@Jerry-oo8hd Yea agreed, Peter is fantastic, no doubt!
I've met Steve Smith and Bernard Purdie, as well as Danny Seraphine. But I would have killed to meet Jeff.
Of course it's Jeff on Mornin'...omg!! I never knew that and listening to it again. Jeff had the greatest grooves, which makes that song so spectacular!!! And the first take? WOW. Thank for mentioning this!!
Love Michael Mcdonald you could tell the vocal strain he was facing at this point he still had the amazing upper register but how much touring was he doing it looked like an insane schedule
Michael Mcdonald the voice od God !
i kinda love the huskiness he has here in the early 90s
The female backing vocalist might scream late 80s more than anyone I've ever seen :)
That’s Marylin Martin who’s best known for “Separate Lives” her duet with Phil Collins from the movie “White Nights”.
I found it screechy. I would have gone with Carly Simon, or Merry Clayton (Stones, "Gimme Shelter" the screamer: "Rape! Murder! It's just a shout away!" She cracked her voice on the record, too).
Wow, what a performance. You can see Jeff's big glasses and huge smile even with low resolution and Dan Huff is enjoying himself pretty good too.
I miss Jeff every day.
On original recording (in studio) also Mike Porcaro on base and Steve Lukather on guitar. Actually, Toto + Michael McDonald.
Louis Johnson on bass...
I wonder what the members thought when they heard this?! LOL it probably got a bit awkward.
the woman voice is a disaster..
Gracias
Caro Jeff quanto bene meraviglia Jeff porvaro
Solo tu Jeff solo tu potevi fare certe cose magiche 🙄🤯🤯🤓❤️❤️❤️❤️
Is that Jeff playing ? Sounds like double bass...
Actually, there are two different drummers playing, exchanging solos. The different kits have different sounds, with Vinnie's snare being tuned higher, and with the higher tuned kit having a COMPLETELY different solo style than the kit with the lower sounding snare. So, it is obvious that Jeff plays solo 2 and 4. Garfield, who played on this also confirmed that Jeff played two of the solos, so there isn't really any debate about this. I do know for sure that Vinnie got some of his early chops and style from Jeff solos he heard. Jeff was doing a beta version of the Vinnie style back in 1970, possibly even late 1969, which sounded an awful lot like later Vinnie chops, but not as metrically modulated (that was all Vinnie) :)
That voice kills. Bill's got it all.
Is this the best version of I Keep Forgettin' live perfomances? Jeff killin' that 16th hi-hat notes
