I’m pretty sure you can do roll cancel grab while running. Run shield and immediately roll then immediately grab.

I'm trying to main Little Mac along with Donkey Kong, so I really appreciate the in-depth explanations of many of Mac's techs and tools! (funny thing, I was doing a ledge trump, and it turned into the wall-jump you did very close to the end of the video. Haha.)

This Steve is so trash. If he was good, he'd take advantage of your lack of pressure which is giving him time to set up stronger attacks instead of doing foolish moves like mine carting for no reason. I don't expect you to go in carelessly, just pressure him enough to make him build blocks between you instead of building weapons. Slowly chip away his blocks and force him to run away or break his blocks then punish him.

mac fair going thru full charge shots is crazy

Some of these KO punches were so dumb! I laughed at a good amount of them cuz I’ve done all the same things. my top faves are when they’re running away….letting Samus and dark samus charge up their busters fully so I can run up on them and parry it in their face…. try holding the same KO punch for as long as possible and never use it. Just let the opponent freak out. My all time favorite though….. it’s holding it as long as possible while chasing down the opponent but I’m also not using any attacks EXCEPT for counter. Just get in and stand there and watch them hold shield, roll, run, evade, then run back in their face and just stand behind them again and watch them hold shield. I need to send you some shit you’ll love!
