Amanda & I are adventure seekers. We love to explore the outdoors. We show our experiences on our day hikes in the Northwest primarily and beyond. Our goal is to let everyone see some of the beauty and give some ideas on where to go when visiting or places you may not have seen if you live in the area.

Easy day hike along the Metolius River. Warm day, beautiful day awesome place to be. Temperature of the water of the Metolius is very very cold. Such a beautiful and awesome day.
Tamanawanas Falls

Beautiful water fall Mt. Hood Forest. It's really only about 1.8 mile in and 1.8 out just over 3 miles I believe but it is a easy hike and absolute beautiful from start to finish.
Iron Mountain

This is a short but steep one. So if you are going give yourself plenty of time. Of course that depends on your experience as well. Beautiful as always and so worth the hike. One of my top mountain hikes.
Sahalie & Koosah Falls Loop

This is a must do hike if you are close to the central Oregon area. Absolutely beautiful views and a pretty easy hike. Enjoy this one Like, Share and Subscribe.
Spencer Butte Ridge Trail

Nice first hike of 2024. We started at the bottom on this one. There is a shorter trail to get to this point as well. Just under 5 miles and about 1200 ft elevation gain from where we started.
Burney Falls & Castle Lake to Heart Lake

This was a beautiful hike in both spots. Castle Lake would have been nice to be clear out but never the less this was amazing. Went to Bethel Church in Redding, CA Friday night which was incredible. Met a powerful young lady who was amazing and being used by the Lord! Great time.
KENTUCKY FALLS

Suislaw National Forest this one is a nice gem of a hike not super hard. Worth every bit of it. I was having a few camera and drone issues not sure why? Let me know if you have questions or make a comment?
Horse Rock Ridge

This is a nice trail with some spectacular views near Sweet Home, OR and Brownsville, OR. This hike is well worth it. We didn't have such a clear day but I bet on a really clear day this trail has incredible views at the top.
Proxy Falls Oregon

This is a really easy hike approximately about 1.8 mile loop. This is a really easy day hike with amazing beauty from these falls. Well worth it!
Beautiful Tom, Dick & Harry via Mirror Lake

This is a beautiful hike near Mt. Hood. It is about 1500ft in elevation gain about 8.2 miles up and back at Government Camp. Worth the hike to some beautiful views. A little hazy and smokey from some fires but still worth it on a clear day you have views to quite a few mountains.

This hike never disappoints. It is a absolutely beautiful waterfalls tucked away in Scotts Mills, OR.

Family come and visit and we take them to Silver Falls and the Oregon Coast. This was a week to remember such good memories were made.

Do you get many trains going by?
No it wasn't bad. However it was warmer that weekend and we had the air on as well. So it would depend on the time of the year I'm sure.
