    I know I'm 8 years to late but this audience are the most annoying, creepiest, laughing seals I've ever seen. Think Jim was soooo happy to get away from (most) of them.

    The video says the subtitles are auto-generated, yet they're almost 100% accurate.

    So Jim Butcher became a great writer by committing a white mutiny.

    While we wait for the next book, I invite fans to enjoy a completely free novel set in the Dresden-verse. Just Google Warlock of Omaha. www.fanfiction.net/s/12224481/1/Warlock-of-Omaha

    Some of the people in the audience need to let the man talk.

    Jim Butcher is such a nice guy. There is always one person in his small audiences that refuses to stfu. I wouldn't put up with it. Keep up the great work, Jim.

    Jim had to give up half of everything in the divorce, including rights to his intellectual property... Idk if he will ever get the files finished now. George Lucas had the same thi happen with Star Wars and it took him 30 yrs to get back to it!

      I about had a heart attack reading your comment... I seriously hope he finishes and this business about divorce doesn't rob him of his passion to write. Also, he had to give up his intellectual property?!? I guess marriage is a kind of deal with the devil, get a prenuptial I guess.

      I'm pretty sure he only had to split the rights to Dresden and Codex Alera. Cinder Spires was written after the divorce he went through. And anything he writes after the divorce is his and sole his.

    The History Channel documentary he talks about I think is 'Afraid of the Dark' maybe? Wonder how can get him to confirm that.

    Audience beyond annoying. Gurgling toddler with Mom sssshhhhing, hacking typhoid victim, constant interruptions from cutesy fans... I don't know how he stayed on track. He was funny and charming, but his audience was not courteous. Shhhh. Hack hack. Cooing fan doing one-liners....

    Can someone explain 9:10 to me. Im not a native speaker and i don't understand the story i think. What did he found out with Google Earth exactly? Something with Street lights but i don't get it. And whats the officer concerned of? Or am i missing Context? Sorry i just don get it =)

    • @jdubwo4220
      @jdubwo4220 9 років тому

      +BeyondSorrowYYY he described a sniper hit or assassin scene or something, with the correct street light knocked out and which building to use etc, it was accurate enough that the officer wanted to know who told him how to set that scene correctly for the real place.

    Interesting what he says about tags...I wonder, it seems like writers, even good writers, sometimes get stuck that way too. So the characters become too stiff.
