Swish rugs are great, I'd a load of them, but they've all gone missing over the years - such is life on a livery yard and people just grab whatever rug they can - I know I ended up using a rug that didn't belong to me more than once! 😂😂

Why cant you take long acting in the morning to last all day like night time?

I'm type 2, I take tablets for it. I was told type 1 is an autoimmune disorder where the body doesn't produce insulin, and type 2 is a metabolic disorder where the body produces insulin but doesn't use it properly. I think I have Cushing's Syndrome, which is a metabolic disorder caused by high levels of cortisol from stress - one symptom is hyperglycaemia. But if you present with hyperglycemia you're told "you've got type 2 diabetes", and they give you tablets. I've tried telling the GP (5 of them so far!), but they won't listen to me. I Googled to see what foods will lower cortisol, and one suggestion was 85% dark chocolate, so I started eating that, and /touch wood/ it's making a difference. My mmol has been 7s and 8s the last few years, what with the pandemic and everything, I've gotten it back down to 5s and 6s now, and a couple of my other issues seem to be sorting themselves out. I don't doubt the doctor will jump down my throat about my hba1c, but they always do as they're all stuck in the mindset that obesity and a sedentry lifestyle = T2 diabetes. Two dieticians said there was nothing wrong with my diet. And at least 1 nurse had the cop-on that stress is a huge factor in type 2. 💖

Looks like you'd be better off cantering, he seems to jump better from canter (I used to ride a similar cob and he couldn't jump from trot at all, but get him in to canter and he was like Red Rum!! 😂) Love your neckstrap, and the hoodie! I've type 2 diabetes and I'm fed up of telling the doctors that adrenaline and/or cortisol cause spikes, they don't listen, they just start lecturing me on my appalling diet [not a one of them knows what I eat at all a dietician said I was clinically anorexic!!], and my weight, which is fine for my height...one in particular keeps threatening to put me on insulin, she hasn't so far...
