I thought so. Seeing the warm high pressure front switching directions and being absorbed by the low pressure cold front. Wish I would've left the camera out for bit longer though. There's always next time.

Sure was. No tornado here though. Camp Ripley had one touch down from same storm. And yes that's sirens from Sartell Mn. Few minutes NW. I never heard Sauk Rapids sirens going off during the storm. 🤔. Also I don't understand why this storm upload has so many views. I was just recording one of our (so far better storms of 2024) rolling in. It got intense quick. I didn't want to get soaked, so went inside and yes headed siren warnings in Sartell. Hopefully we get another storm of that nature before fall. I'll ride it out in the poncho and record, while keeping a close eye on radar

Sorry..I've enabled comments years later. That was 8lbs mono and a size 6 gamu hook with a quarter oz sinker 18 inch leed to hook, roughly 3.5 feet of water where i set hook on a nightcrawler as bait. And still the best catch of my life. 😅 And to top it off the 2nd cheapest rod reel combo I've bought , reel has a rear drag system that I definitely wasn't accustomed to until that fight. It was a learning experience.. I babied that beauty near the end and didn't want to lose it. And at the very end the line snaps and that's when I grabbed her. Gave her a kiss adorned her and let her go. Dinosaur fish. And very proud to have caught one. Maybe another someday. Before I forget to mention,yes it does slap me in the face hard, right before my wife cuts recording.😂 Little love smack

Why don't more people lip grip em? They treat em light they're a delicate prissy species's. They're strong adapt and overcome and then die. And they're offspring do the same thing. I'll catch them all day practically everyday. Of every month down here if I wanted to. Little teeth on the thumb never hurt anyone. You ever had bass lip thumb after a day of catching them?

you need to work on your fish handling skills bigtime. at least you just killed a bunch of stocked tardbows and not wild fish.
Have gotten alot better. And more considerate of lure choice since that video. No more trebles has created no more troubles.

Thank's man! I am just happy to be able to find them this time of year. From what I hear it's the most difficult season to catch them. This creeks been pretty productive though. Should have some more vids up soon! Thanks for watching!
