I’m not sure if he was the first one doing it, probably not there is so many skaters and insane tricks done nowadays, but for sure he is the one who made that trick popular and effortless. To do it both in contest and in the streets we can see it the way you said

Why we're you wiggling your front foot into position?? I can see doing that for manual or one truck grinds but a 50/50?? You should be stable enough on your 50/50 to just move your foot. Not trying to hate, just trying to let you know that's not needed on a 50/50
I agree I learnt tricks out of 50/50 trying to land on the 50 itself with the feet already set up for the trick out, but since I changed my deck I struggle with the new shape and have often to adjust mid grind that’s sort of ruining the look of it I know 😐 gonna figure it out
