Bosrijk is our favorite too.. so far. We are very curious what the new hotel will have to offer. But we’re it is not the Bosrijk vibe in the middle of nature. That is absolutely the big Bosrijk plus.

Is it a first visit? A lot of people want to come back after their first visit 😁 There are celebration buttons for birthdays. I’ve never seen them for anniversaries but you can check with guest services in your resort or the park to be sure. Honestly the most romantic that the park has to offer is seeing Caro together. But it is not necessarily the right vibe. We would recommend a dinner at the restaurant De Molen which is in walking distance in Kaatsheuvel. It is an upscale restaurant located in the ground floor of an old windmill.

Hmm well, one night at the Efteling hotel on a Saturday in August is about €530, so I think maybe €700-€800 a night peak season? Maybe more…. What do you think?

We’ve only stayed at Landhuys. But we love the lakeview houses. Maybe in the future when some friends want to join for a short stay.

@@DutchThemeparkNetworkNL we’ve stayed in the Landhuys, woodland, waterside and village houses. The village works well for us as a family due to the layout but the woodland ones are very lovely. We stayed in one of the 12 person ones once. They’re huge!

Who knows we can ones collect viewers and rent a huge house for 24. 😀. It is still a dream to have a Dutch Themepark network weekend or such thing

I'm an adrenile junky myself not exactly the prime target for this park. But i just love walking around there and soaking up the atmosphere.

@ normally not. But please do use the websites. Sometimes there are transfers or better traveloptions. All will be shown at the website. Today we had an American using the website he told it was easy to use and really helpful.

Efteling offers special deals including meals and event tickets. These are released in June. Prices are slightly higher (because of the meal plan) but still reasonable.

So good to hear you had a great stay. Drones wouldn’t be very useful for the fireworks show. The Netherlands has a tradition with bad weather circumstances during NYE. This year drones were impossible due to the high winds.

The eastern expansion is planned for the land between the current park and the street “de Horst”. this land will be developed in several stages.

@ it is. It will be the first time in the history of the park that it will expand in size. There were plans for a circus coaster but those are cancelled.

@ NYE at Efteling is on my bucket list now for sure , I didn’t know they did all those other nice things like the silent disco and a show as well . the fireworks with lasers made the sky look beautiful , you got great footage

NYE at Efteling is a special event. All park music was replaced as well. The complete evening has a very special vibe.
