Thank you for this - now I'm ready! Someone in the comments mentioned using GLUE BOARDS. PLEASE DO NOT USE GLUE TRAPS AS THEY ARE VERY INHUMANE. Trapped in the glue and terrified, animals can take days to die of starvation, dehydration, and exposure.
Genius! ❤
13 in the past 2 weeks
Forget it! Snappy traps are always a pain in the ass to set. Save yourself the hassle go at Canadian Tire, buy some sticky traps and bait in the middle a little blop of peanut butter. I guarantee you will catch a mouse.
That is very inhumane though. They are not recommended by professionals.
Am I missing something??? Why is the lock being removed?
Just say where to hook it! all this time til then...man
also, sometimes the trigger wire, is slightly too short, and the staple that connects it to the wood needs to be bent slightly forward so it doesn't keep slipping before you can set it properly... not always as easy as it seems to set these things. some traps you get lucky with, others need to be tweeked a little before you can make them usable
Hi, I just wanted to let you know that this video was really helpful to me. I set my traps according to this video and I caught a mouse after a month of trying. Thank you!
Have u ever cut ur fingers on them ? I cut my skin on my fingers when I first bought one
Does that wire u put into were u put into the hole inside have to upside or forward
Before you setup the Triger you better put the peanut butter , or a small piece of cheese then setup the trigger . Because if you do that after setting up the Trigger , it will be pupped when you add the cheese.
Thank you! It's been a looong time since I had to set one and I wasn't sure I was remembering how to do it properly (I wasn't). Really appreciate the clear instructions.
Lol u probably should have baited it before u set it...also it has two settings hard and soft.
Thank verry muth👍🎩🎩
Thank you for the tip on how to unset the trap safely
You should put the bait on the trap first, I believe.
Very clear. Thank you!
It worked! I could set them up safely and quickly. Before watching your video, I watched others and read their comments. A number of people broke or hurt their thumbs or fingers. Very scary! Now, I just have to wait for the mice. God bless you!
Many thanks to the person in this video!!!
This is a fantastic rat trap video!
What’s the best bait to use on these?
peanut butter
Slim Jim
Definitely a piece of a Slim Jim. Because it attaches firmly. A piece of cheese, bacon or peanut butter can be taken by a smart rat or mouse without setting the trap. They're extremely intelligent.
You saved my life
I can't get mine to say they snap as soon as I let go of them
Thanks for the great demonstration! Were not dealing with an ordinary mouse 😳! Will let ya know how it turns out!
It's been 10 months and I hope the mouse didn't get an IQ of 500 and made a saw trap and got you and every other person in your household in a large human sized mouse trap and baited you all with 100 dollar bills 😦
@@Impaler_XV So got them all including an already stinky dead one, all were hidden in my wal & l torn downa section of the wall since they made their way in near the door outside ! Been mouse free for months! Everything is sealed tight now their not getting back in 🙂
@@DeborahGamelli I'm glad their evil plans with a human sized mouse trap didn't come true and you are safe and sound.
@@Impaler_XV Lmao 🤣 your demeanor made my day!
wtf are you trying to kill with that, its so big
Roof rat😂😂
It's a rat trap...not a mouse trap...durr
That’s what she said 😂
MPF.
Very clear ! Better than others. That you need to Lift the yellow part a bit, would make it perfect
my issue i have is when i set the trap on ground it goes off an i actually though i lost the tip of my finger
Holy shit I actually set one
why you dont do youtube?
Son trampas grandes? Que modelo es?
thanks so much
Thank you! But do use rubber gloves so you don't leave human scent on the trap or bait.
Too late for that
whoa, that's a rat trap, not a mouse trap. watch your fingers!!
I imagine it can be used for mice too?
Thank you.
Dude you take to long to explain shit
OK demo on how to ARM and bait, but still you miss THE most important detail of actually CATCHING vermin. And that is trap placement. First, any form of laying them horizontal on a flat surface is the weakest way to place them. Rats more so than mice, learn to lay down on the bail or locking bar, to 'safely' springing the traps without catching anything. It may seem an E-ticket ride, but they get the bait and you are left with thier turds. Placing the traps VERTICALLY, by pinning them to the wall, approximately the WIDETH of the trap from the floor, will GUARANTEE a successful catch every time. Attaching it to a seperate larger board at the correct height, will facilitate deployment and resetting. Your all welcome...
FUCK YOUUUUU
Thank you for your help🥰
I'm trying to catch pigeons with large snap traps on the roof. any tips like bait or other kind of traps.
HAHA. Any luck??
@@-darrell how are you after 5 months mate
Wow need those rat traps because rats are infesting our house
same
failed miserably until I realized that you can not put too much bait ....otherwise to heavy to set the trap
Wow thank you. Now I see the mistake I’ve been making and why my traps are so frustrating to set. I must’ve been bending the stick everytime. Great video Thanks!
im sure you'll build it yourself. I made it 2 weeks ago thanks to woodprix website.
Spam another channel you clown.
useful tips
Great video - thanks for putting it together!
My fingers thank you & I thank you!
I can make it myself. Just got instructions from woodprix website and I'm ready for do it :D
So then what? You've made an open trench do you cover that up with soil and make it the way it was?
