Updates are every three to four weeks, depending on the complexity of new assets. I do a mix of 40k animations, often based on iconic films, as well as personal takes on Star Wars and Dungeons and Dragons gameplay and storytelling. I try to do an occasional tutorial as well.
Animation builds are done on an AMD 3600X-based computer with a Radeon RX 6600 with Moho 13.5, Blender 3.3, and audio recording with Audacity.
Render farming/image processing and video editing is done from a separate AMD 5700G-based computer using DaVinci Resolve 18.

Starting a series on different campaign formats you can try if you're not quite up to the full sandbox from playing a railroad. Check out Tales Arcane's channel: www.youtube.com/@UCKDHCnChJREiGOUpsmStcMQ #ttrpg #dungeonsanddragons
50 Sessions of Force and Destiny

I finished my Force and Destiny campaign last year, so it's time to share what I think of this branch of the Star Wars core rulebooks and how it handles more powerful Force-using characters #starwars #forceanddestiny #moho
Dungeondraft: A Review After 50 Maps
Переглядів 3363 місяці тому
I've used Dungeondraft for my VTT games for a little over a year now, and I've decided to post a review. If you've been on the fence for a while about getting map-specific software, this may help you decide if this is the right utility for your games. #dnd #dungeondraft #maps
(Commentary) Hot Fuzz, but it's Deathwatch

So this is the commentary track version of the completed work. I discuss the model rigging, editing process, shortcuts, observations about Hot Fuzz, and several other topics. So if you like the sound of my voice, you can now listen to it twice as much! #spacemarine #warhammer40k #deathwatch
Hot Fuzz, but it's Deathwatch 45 (Final Supercut)

(quick re-upload due to an error in the edit) It's been a rough 5 years, but we've finally have this finished. I do plan to do a compilation cut with a commentary track in a week or so, but for now enjoy the completed video! #warhammer40k #spacemarine #deathwatch
Hot Fuzz, but it's Deathwatch pt 44

Hoo, this one took some work. And I had to learn a bit more Blender for the chase sequence. It was rough and I ran into some errors that absolutely baffled me, but it's done. Only a little bit more to go. Images from Blender will be on my facebook soon. #spacemarine #warhammer40k #deathwatch

Let me know what you think of the new Doris rig in the comments. I'll post some images of the Moho framework on my facebook in the near future. For now, though, want anything from the shop? #spacemarine #warhammer40k #deathwatch

Lots of layers of audio on this one. It's fun retiring these earlier rigs one at a time as they get taken out. Pub? #spacemarines #deathwatch #moho

Can I animate a firefight? Let's find out. Huge number of custom assets that had to be put together for this, including a rudimentary copy of Market Square in Wells, Somerset. I'll have pics on my facebook for anyone curious. #deathwatch #hotfuzz #spacemarines

Several new assets for this video, though they may not be immediately apparent. That and a business trip earlier this month really ate into my time. But once I identified all the old shots and background, then adjusted them for the new aspect ratio, things sped up a bit. #spacemarines #warhammer40k #deathwatch
Hot Fuzz, but it's Deathwatch 38 (Supercut 7)

Managed to get a little more done than usual this week since this required relatively few original assets to finish up. The rest of the series isn't going to be as easy, with nearly every set requiring original assets, including weapons! #warhammer40k #hotfuzz #moho

Hot Fuzz but it's Deathwatch 27 (Supercut 5)
I mostly agree, but not being able to correct the DM if they make a rules mistake is straight DM Aggression. Being a DM does not make you immune to making mistakes, and in a game that clearly has huge consequences, I'm going to call you out if you're forcing my character to take a big penalty because you got a rule wrong. If you don't want to be rules lawyered, get the rules right.
No that’s an outlandish take imo. While showing the DM the spot in the book where it says a rule is different to “trust me bro” it is still the DM’s ruling. If you want to be a rules lawyer and argue with the DM over an imaginary universe where fake things are happening then don’t come to my table 💀💀💀
I'd heard about this meme and was curious. Having listened to your diligent overview all I can say is, that I am spoiled by having roleplayed with my friends for 30+ years. Almost none of this is even recognizable to me. Cheers!
My current gaming group is great as well, but I have run into a little of this in Adventurers League and some games in middle school.
The readability was kinda hard on this, with the colour of some of the tiles.
The way i know this community has completely run out of things to talk about is that we are *still* talking about this dumb reddit post
My lengthy content pipeline means I'm usually a bit behind on these things.
Hi As-Your-GM found your channel by chance. Like your vid.
I particularly liked the tongue and cheek 1980's reference drawn on the 5 player table.
Not wholly intentional. But it turns out there's a way to draw a shape like that without lifting the pencil.
Awesome work!
This was really good! I've been running games for around five years now, and you still brought out a few things I didn't think of. My usual type of campaign to run so far is a game with a well-defined starting few sessions, a well-defined ending few sessions, and complete improv in the middle. It's kind of like a train on a railroad, but then it has a jump over a ravine and it's up to the players to see how the train lands on the tracks on the other side. My new campaign for a completely new set of players is much more of a rigid railroad, but it loops back in on itself and the first few sessions are mirrored in the last few sessions, with the players entering back into session one with a significantly higher amount of knowledge about how to defeat the villain. That's going to be a wild campaign format that hopefully I can pull off in a clever way. Anyways, great video!
I call that style of campaign a 'bell-curve', which starts and ends on the line, but can deviate pretty far away from the center for a while.
I edited all the supercuts together into the full film and watched it with my friends. Made their day!
Great video.
Great video as always! Really enjoyed the commentary on the morality system vs the obligation system. I think that the obligation systems provides more for the actual story in the campaign and the conflict is more gameplay based.
Note: the Disorient back-and-forth is fixed in my edition, but still shows up in other editions.
Loving the new avatar!
I've heard about Dungeon Draft before, but never really looked into it. Thank you so much for the video. Regarding 3rd party assets, do you find the in-built assets sufficient or are there places that you really need 3rd party stuff to fill in the gaps?
Users seem to get a lot of mileage out of the built-in assets for their fantasy games. Many assets are color-able, so you can play with the hue of an area to make it different from previous uses. There does come a point, after a large number of maps, where players may recognize your choice of rocks, but that's many, many maps down the line.
I got Dungendraft and with the assets from FA (Forgotten Adventures) it really shines. With these dunno 30k+ assets Dungeondraft is really going places. Only Modern/Cyberpunk/SciFi assets is imho a weak spot. But one can make and upload selfmade assets into Dungeondraft too.
@@artaweunderhill4480 I'll be sure to look into that.
Omg what was in that bolonese? 😂
Nice video.
I loved this so much I do wish we could just get a hyper super cut of the full movie tho
Man, it was like yesterday when I click open pt 1, can't believe you actually remade the entire movie, well done bro, well done...
As final note I'll reiterate what I said before When I started watching this, I thought this universe was mindless science fantasy. In that time a best friend of mine pulled me in and I realised this is proper hard sci-fi. This journey has been great, committing to doing commentary track, the references I missed in here but should have known, and stuff added about Hot Fuzz itself... It's all great. I never was into tabletop games for practical reasons, and I'm here mostly for books, so it was kinda interesting to see how much it being a tabletop game at a core influenced it. And to answer implied question form the start, for me Danny being Salamander just to explain that he still has contact with his human father is enough of explanation... how he got there is not that important.
26:16 WAIT, a Top Secret reference _I_ missed I've got to watch it dosen more times then. 41:50 ok, I did not connect the fact he was iron hand to translate the tech priest, great gag now that I see it
the choice of "fake languages" to use for different tracks is brilliant
cool.
Congratulations!! One of the best series on the platform
YOUVE DONE IT YOUVE FINISHED THE MASTERPIECE!!! I've rewatched entire enterprise so many times, I can't believe it's over. Thank you for all of it :)
Dang man what an undertaking to finish something of this magnitude. I'm glad I found your series and you saw it though. Excellent work. 👏👏👏👏
Congrats on finishing this project. Hot Fuzz is such a great movie, and this take on it is just funnier because of how absurd it is.
You done it, you actually done it you holy man!!! FOR THE EMEPROR!!!
Amazing to see this finished! That ending... wow 😂
Amazing work.
love how its the dark angel is the one to say "no problem" to the idea of keeping a secret.
Amazing work. It was great to see the refinement of your work over the years.
The crazy son of a bitch did it! What an absolute masterpiece
Good job! Thank you for making and sharing this with us.
I learned SO MUCH about the universe since I started watching, as when I started I only was vaguely aware of genetically modified heavy infantry, while now I understand choices for legions for much of the crew.
BY THE EMPERORS BALLS*CK! WOOT WOOT! The animation! The jokes! The action! You have cooked a masterpiece!
Well done!!!🔥🔥🔥
Thanks so much for this. Can't believe its been 5 years.
only just recently found you through Astartes Anonymous, but im glad I found this. its phenomenal and you should be proud!
I'll have to give that a listen.
Congratulations on the completion of this amazing mashup. It's been a ride
finally... the whole thing is done.. holy shit..
It's crazy to think that this is finally done. The scale and quality of this is insane for what sounds like a shitpost at first. I can't wait to see where you go from here.
Thanks for making this. Hope to see future projects from you.
I just used this technique in a short animation clip I did. I then added bones to the fire and moved it around a little. Thanks so much for sharing this. ua-cam.com/video/rd35rbfPJbY/v-deo.htmlsi=g-8MAjHr4Lej-OHZ
Do you not use Morality in Force and Destiny?
This was recorded for our Halloween one-shot. We did start a full F&D campaign a few months later once our Edge campaign wrapped up.
the canvas demonstration is a brilliant idea. the clearest explanation I've seen so far.
Nice video.
omg the animation holy shit
red thirst refrence lol
