i was really hoping this would solve my problem :( got a new ssd for my pc, 2 TB, moved steam files to new ssd from old one and i can't get Steam to read the already installed files, i don't want to have to re install these where i have them installed already Steam just won't read it :( i don't know what i'm doing wrong.

I followed all steps but It didn't work for me. It shows resume button after I copied files but when I click resume button nothing happens :(

Don't think it works. Because the one I downloaded on pc I played the 7 day free trial but downloaded the full game. In steam i bought the game and didn't wanted to download all those files again but I tried this and it still shows 60 gb download remaining. Maybe only works with free game I think.

I have a question about games that needs to be payed? Can you do this method with this?
