somewhere between 3-4, gotta include the time before when i reset my channel like an idiot. i'm mainly going off of the date i started streaming on twitch, which wasn't long after i originally started on here.

i would classify "abandoning this channel in about a week because of dead chat after dead chat, no one giving a shit about, therefore making me waste $30 aud on a capture card, trying to get a playthrough of a game off of the ground, only for people to basically go \meh\ and kill it before it can get any traction, AND no one helping me with ANYTHING basically from day 1, leaving me to figure it out myself (what i would have assumed the proper settings for a capture card to be) and basically making me waste 3-ish years of my life on a worthless venture" ..but sure - go on, tell me how i HAVEN'T...

the thing though, is that i've never acted or said otherwise - i AM only good enough at FPS games for the easiest difficulty in most of them, and normal at best in something like halo. i've tried to stress multiple times that for example - i would NEVER do legendary in halo, or veteran in COD

i got sick of the crashes, so i gave up - i could have probably continued using "expanded arsenal" but i've played that mod to death at this point.

@@AnonimPsevdonim not your fault - again, i tried to push through the crashes and the one-hit kills, but eventually even i had to pack it in. it was pretty much exactly the same crash every time - a "null" type - i showed the message in one of the brutal half life vods.

@@aleksander_kuznetsov i didn't have that version installed just in case it broke "expanded arsenal" which is one of my favorite mods for HL1.

that's one of the problems i can't fix by myself; i can only GUESS with the volume(s) because when i do streams like MGSV (for example), no one will help with ANYTHING in relation to said streams, audio included. so until someone does help when i stream with the technical side, this is the best you're going to get i'm afraid.

@@docreaper922 Fair enough. I also stream on Twitch (and UA-cam) every now and then, and my biggest problem is resolution scaling. As for audio: I always go to the game's Settings page and crank up the volume to MAX. I can then make adjustments in OBS, which is the streaming software I use, and the viewer can also adjust the volume on the Twitch/YT player. Of course, you'll have to ensure that your own commentary is still audible, but OBS has a slider option for this. I don't know which streaming software you use, but OBS is pretty straightforward for a hopeless idiot such as myself.

i hate people who do that, and i won't play online with games like this, or the pvp of div1+2 and destiny 1+2, so no one has to worry about that; any time i've played PVP it ends up basically becoming a game of "how quickly can i die whilst trying to take out a tanky-ish enemy player" i really only cheated with these two missions (8+9) because i couldn't figure out how i could legitimately do them without cheating. i might have to cheat again MUCH later in the SP, but we'll see what happens when we get there.

Keep streaming!! I used to play this game religiously. I didn't think anyone remembered it, so happy to come across this.

i'm fine with people watching the vids\vods, i have no problems with that; my problem lies however with getting anyone to show up to the streams when i do them. as they say "it's a crapshoot" at this point.

i ask myself that question every stream.

a bit late, but unless i'm missing some crucial piece of info, YEP this is real.

Edit: forgot to add - figured someone might get something out of these. ultimately originally these weren't planned at all, now it's just "play a little bit (anywhere between 5mins and an hour) and record it to upload and see if anyone gives a shit", basically. Original: honestly, like most of these i've just stumbled upon and figured "might make a quick vid of this" because "eh, why not?"

why post then? the time and effort spent making your post could have been better spent elsewhere.

honestly, i'd advise anyone interested in playing this get either the psone or pc versions; only play this one if you can't. the controls suck, and this, along with other games like ep 1 racer just don't work on game boy, especially like this; by "don't work" i mean that they are horrible to play.

it's because i have the volume in OBS set low for when i usually stream. this was on a whim, and i wasn't going to break any audio settings for a one-off (of sorts)

i did that with both this and two others basically because "why not? do something different for a bit" the DS one i honestly don't know whether to continue with, or just stick to basic overlays like i have been doing.

honestly, i only ever really played the demo of this on ps2 - just decided to get the pc port randomly on a whim while i was cleaning out my steam "wishlist" a while ago
