That ethereal regal vista of that absolutely gorgeous bonnet hood stretch out, with the Goddess of luxurious journeys settled on its Grecian radiator prow. Wings outstretched to a silken wafting flight not unlike atop cloud nine. Mine is a 1982 Mark 1 Spirit. I treasure and immensely value it’s noble companionship wherever I go. And I use my Spirit as a daily driver. Yes these cars demand tremendous love and high-detail devotion to their varied and myriad sections, be it accumulator spheres, brake lines, perfect SU carb settings, are amongst just a few that require careful specific timely attention to operate flawlessly. But the magical innumerable rewards, and unending joy of effortlessly steering this behemoth, with one finger, is something that remains precious most and priceless. I have driven many fine automobiles but somehow the mystique and pride of companionship that a Roll grants, I have not found in any other car.

Most beautiful 911 ever made in my opinion. There were loads for sale (South Africa) less than a year ago. Suddenly I can’t find a C2 gen2. Have a 996 GT3 and would love on of these too. Heard via the local Porsche dealership that an Australian is buying up second hand cars on the cheap and exporting them because the Rand is so weak. Will keep looking but expect to have to pay a little more than hoped

They are wonderful when they don’t need fixing. Unfortunately that is most of the time.

What year is it?

The oil pressure is super high and the temperature is very low. Do they adjust after some driving? if not, I'd worry about the oil pressure. Mine tends to be too low when the engine is cold. It has to run a good 15 minutes before it gets up into the ideal range. Mine's an 86 Spur.

It has Bentley styled wheels.
