Fridays Thoughts
Hello, Now that I have the computers done my next thought is moving from my bed room to the living room for recordings and maybe , possible live stream from the living room. Not sure how this is all gonna work but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Lighting is the main issue.

Happy Friday everyone. . One note on this video Nate and Bob disagreed about the connectors. New and I do things by today's standards but Bob T is stuck on doing things the old way. Bob don't really like the new age stuff(as he calls it). In the end we agreed that everything is right where it needs to be.

Not sure how but I did manage to get the 8 pin CPU connector on the MB. The system fan however I have no idea on how I will get that on. Only thing left is front panel connectors. Only 3 so that should be pretty easy. Should have it running today but after I get back home. Have a great day.

    If you can't remember what BIOS settings you've changed to block Windows 11, then I'd suggest you remove the CR2023 battery from the motherboard to clear the CMOS. First, though I'd try resetting the BIOS to defaults and if this doesn't work, then clear the CMOS as explained above.

    To turn on TPM (Trusted Platform Module) on a Gigabyte B560 motherboard, access your BIOS by pressing the "Delete" key during startup, navigate to the "Security" or "Advanced" section, and look for an option labeled "PTT" (Platform Trust Technology) which you need to set to "Enabled";

    Mate the cables for the psu clearly reads 24pinatx i.e plug in the 24pin cable there. You run a risk of damaging your psu and motherboard if you don't. Fyi the fan on the psu is not on all the time, it will turn on when it needs to. The orientation of the fan above the the Scythe Mugen cooler is set to intake which is wrong. The fans should be plugged in to prevent the PC overheating, plugging them in is not optional. The case fans runs quiet if you can hear a sound, the fans are probably touching its cables. In the bios, load default settings in the boot tab to reset the bios to default. WATCH HOW TO BUILD A PC TUTORIAL if you are unsure what to do

    C or Z? Does not matter. The cable end that can be divided into 4+4 for EPS or 6+2 for GPU's is the end that goes into MB or the GPU. The other end that is one connector connects to the PSU.

      @@ricklakes9405 the additional 4+4 EPS that is hanging is for OC and for LN-OC (Liquid Nitrogen-OC). The Generation of Motherboards you use has usually 1x8 and maybe an additional 4 Pin connector. Expensive High end boards need 2x8 EPS Connectors depending on CPU and use-case.

    The only reason the MB would need the extra cable plugged into the upper top left (most MB's) is for extreme overclocking. I haven't ran into a board that wouldn't post without the extra cable plugged in yet. I run an Asus prime x570 pro and don't use extra cable.

    Best advice i can give you, is watch the manufactures video on how to hook up the cords and to what goes where. Or download the mother board manual so you know exactly what needs to be plugged in. The manufacture to any power supply will have photos of what the cords are meant for. Unless you have a nvidia 4080 or 4090 you will need to use that weird looking cord called the 12 pin GPU Power Adapter Cable. I highly recommend to anyone building a pc to make sure you watch or download the manuals for the power supply to make sure you have the connections you need for any set up. Cause not all power supplies support all connections or devices that you want to install.
