Is there a worse stock cable anymore? Its what comes with the $5 fiio specials. More seriously, do you see a role for these or should most people who can spend $100yr get one pair? I picked up a ton of well rated ones from 11/11 but they can basically be split into worth using or not, and none really beat higher priced ones from similar brands

I've used this dongle forever! The software behind this is the best, but it's time for a hardware upgrade. Sadly the Fiio BTR17 replaced this as my go to Bluetooth dongle.

Do you know if the sound can be adjusted at all? I listen to metal primarily, and I'm trying to find decent headphones under $400. I've heard good reviews so far but I'm still not entirely convinced. You're the first person who actually doesn't recommend them at all.

they sound like they want to be the best but have a hangover migraine...i was disappointed with the hype and surely these are not metal head headphones as they claim.

Software features are insanely abundant. Sound is neutral with decent technicalities.

What is it's output power at 16, 32 and 300 ohms? What is it's output impedance? I ask this because I found out that hybrids with DDs & BA's are impacted by sources with high output impedance, similar to using an impedance adapter. It turned my Kinera Celest Relentless into a Basshead set and I almost returned it. I figured out this can be remedied with a simple dongle, no DAC. The Supermix 4 is also susceptible because of it's low impedance (7 ohms), but only the DD and BA, the planar and piezo are not really effected.

I want the same sound as this headphone at the same price. The quality is bad and it broke. I want the best. DUNU ALPHA 3

EPIC device! I love my 5K and I don't know anything that can compete with it. I also had the predecessor, the EarStudio ES100.

The EQ support is great, but they need to re-engineer the internals because the amount of higher order harmonic distortion is embarrassing.

I've bought it twice... second time after the first battery fried... but it's totally worth it. I would only wish it had a 4.4 input but others have commented, a 2.5 to 4.4 adapter does the trick for the most part.

Not many people mention the main reason to buy these: in the crowd of all IEMs that are either clearly V-shaped, neutral or Harmann and differ only a bit in terms on technicalities or the amount of bass or treble, you will always immediately recognize the Phoenixcall on the very first song. The tuning sounds nothing like any other IEM, you just need to check if it's for you, but you can't deny that it's original

I love mine. I even bought a 4.4 to 2.5 adapter to use all my cables, iems and headphones.

Excellent qualité sonore, par contre gros problème de boucle de masse localisée sur la prise jack, un seul appareil a atténué la boucle de masse mais en dénaturant la qualité sonore. Il n'y a que faisant masse avec mes doigts sur la prise jack que la boucle de masse disparaît sans dénaturer le son, j'ai donc retourné ces écouteurs. Dommage car ils ont une sublime quatre sonore.

I almost bought the 440A, and I'm happy I didn't. Personally I found the regular 440s to be uncomfortable on my head, but they sounded good enough that I tolerated it. Knowing the 440As lose that sound benefit and don't even make up for it in comfort is sad. I was hoping for improvement. I ended up saving more money and getting the Audeze Maxwells instead, which honestly are a great upgrade from the 440s in my opinion if you like their tonality.

I'm about to get the XS Edition. Is it still worth it today or is there an alternative that came out that is better than the XS in that price range?
