The kids and I love going to Asakusa, we were there again just yesterday. Their favourite things are to get some big flat Taiwanese fried chicken, some odango skewers, candied fruits and then go to Hanayashiki fun park.

was the train crowded? I going to Kyoto in Nov and was wondering whether it is worth doing the train ride. It seems like I have to work my schedule around the train ride schedule. If the view is just okay and it is very crowded, I am leaning toward not taking the ride so that I could take my time doing visiting other places without a schedule constrain. Would love to hear more comments.

When you shop at Costco you need to get a another fridge. I use the branch at Maebashi and always fill the car at the cut-price petrol station.

I stayed here last night. Very clean and lovely city view. However, the bed is super soft😢 like your back is sank in the mattress, which might not suit for everyone.
