Hi Yorkies, we had a great family holiday in a caravan we towed there 25+ years ago. Lizard point and surrounding areas are really nice especially when the sun shines. Thanks foe bringing back the memories of a great place .

Hi Yorkies, so your journey begins in retirement and so far so good . Cornwall and Devon are Devon/ north and south are so nice when the weather is good. keep the vids coming and hope your problem is not too bad. c

When we done it back in the day (for a year) we went through heavy snow etc and loved the winter months.Really enjoy guys because the weeks go even quicker. Love Cornwall day trip out for us. Paul & Lin❤❤

I love Kefalonia and your videos have been lovely. The only thing spoiling the videos is the sound quality. I just couldn't hear a lot of it especially the beginning.

I think the bird could have been a cormorant but not exactly sure as I couldn’t see it closely enough ☺️

My wife and I holidayed in Kefalonia 24 years ago this month. As a birthday present from my wife, we hired a scooter and rode miles and miles to Argostolion to see, what was billed as the first public screening of Captain Corelli's Mandolin, showed at Argostolion Cinema. In the audience were many of the locals who had appeared as extras in the film. The only movie I've ever seen shown in a cinema with two intervals. We were enchanted by Kefalonia and thought we'd like to move there some day. We moved to Portugal instead, 2 years later. I honestly believe though, were it not for that holiday, we wouldnt have started the train of thoughts and events that led us to sell our Hampshire home and move to Portugal in October 2002. We've been here ever since. The best decision we ever made. Thank you Kefalonia for planting the first seed that fired our imaginations, I doubt we would be here today without that wonderful holiday.

Hope your blogs are going to be a lot better than this because they've been boring so far
