I have done Umrah twice. I love Allah and His beautiful religion. For me, umrah is very stressful and I realize its rewards but next time I go to Mecca I just want to make salah at the kaaba and spend time in the masjid reading Quran. I hate how people look down on me because of this. Both times I went I felt rushed and uncomfortable outside tawaf and saaee. Im a Mexican revert so this is all very new to me. Also I have a funny shaped head and when I shave it and go back to the office I look crazy unfortunately. I realize the sacrifice but I have a lot of self esteem issues from it. Is it haraam just to read Quran and pray there instead of doing umrah?
