Midnight on the Bay - STILLS-YOUNG BAND
Of all of the great BC songs, this is my favorite by FAR!! "I'm gonna miss you cleaning up around the house, and helping me with my blues"!
Hello
Universe👍
Ain't That A Kick In The Head 🌈😎🎸
That's funny Freddieh!
Amazing.. .
♥
I don't ever hear this gem on the radio anymore, no matter what classic station I tune in to. If it plays any Robert Plant songs, it will either be "Tall, Cool One" or any Led Zeppelin hits. I mean, come on! What's wrong with playing this song, too? This was one of his best, in my opinion, as a solo.
Great lost hit!!
Think Ill get a maid and take her on a cruuuuuise
The best break up song great!
This songs lyrics haven't a more truer meaning then today's world. Peace!
I was only 19 when this came out...oh I loved it so much, and things did get better for sure. Now at 60 I've lived a full, surprising and adventurous life so far Thanks Phil and a big shout out to Deb (Sparra) Murray. Thanks lovely you pushed my life forward xxx
I LOVE that little bit of gibberish at the beginning of the song: "Woobah hemmesa hoobah vah hammish goosh goosh." 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Under BIDEN!!!!
Kamala is gone, gone, gone. Whoop
Amen to that
Excellent album again

Boz Burrell tune

RIP, sir; you are missed 😊

This song sounds so much better on vinyl, being played on a stereo than it does on a CD, particularly the last part of this song, those of you who are younger, should really check it out, and those of you who remember this song while they were growing up or who came of age when this album came out will probably agree with me. L G
Great song... I heard it played on the local rock station working at ron jon's surf shop every day back then!
Do not like Madison Wisconsin but this song is one of my favorites off of “I don’t know why I act this way”. I love the line “but the rain don’t snow and the hurt one go and I don’t think I can let it go”. Love that line.
This song sounds as good today as it did when it first came out, it will never age to me
First
Fuk FOX NEWS!!!🖕
nothing quite like this
I love this Cool song! Only Savoy Brown can do it.
Such a nice voice, such a gifted singer-songwriter. A fun one from him.
It's about young kids selling their bodies on Hollywood Boulevard - hardly fun... Have another listen to the words "They set the young ones up" "Nobody rides for free" Shadows and street lights, "Everybody walks right by"... Usual social commentary by one of the best songwriters ever.
Wife beater
The song you forgot was so important to you until you hear it after NOT hearing it for years.
12 comments ,,, how disappointing ... considering some things get a billion hits ... just shows how bankrupt the collective human psyche is .
Damn! You guys kick some ass!!❤❤❤
Why is music today so bad and music like say this song soooo good?!?!?
GOOD QUESTION
Those with ears, have always heard Chris. Just how he would like it, I bet..
This should have been a Who track. Anthemic with killer lyrics - up there with Who Are You.
I always thought Rough Boys could have been a great Who song also.
I remember quite clearly ...it was my second go round with seventh grade ...torn between parents and fighting all the time ...by the time I was into tenth grade one month I quit ..took the GED a month later and passed it ..and never looked back ...well maybe once but it was a joke to I suppose ...when your going through hell ... sometimes even the best words aren't your best option ...that man left all five of us to fend for ourselves...this music and a host of great musicians kept me sane ...thank you ...from 73- 81...
I better get the boys around and do some drinking, fast ❤ Dark path Mr Rogers.
@genesutton6383 You reminded me of coming out of rehab in March 1979. The band I played in(bass/vocals) had to rewrite all references to liquor ect.
Favoloso, pezzo splendido cantato da un grande cantante
Sexy…..
I think the self titled album and Storyville are classic albums
Kick ass song!!
💯🌹🌹🌹🌹
Simon Phillips is a bad ass drummer
I was 14 when this came out, I loved this song, the images it evoked, made me want to travel as soon as I could, and I did!
Boz Burrell wrote a winner when he penned this great song.
It's PERFECT. RIP Boz
