Aloha friends! Welcome to my channel. I'm an avid water sports enthusiast and saltwater angler. This channel is meant to get you experienced, give you some great insights from people and have you feeling like you're out there with us. We travel all around Florida for adventure and over to the Bahamas. I'll generally give some helpful updates on techniques I've learned or products you'll want to know about. My #1 passion is sharing the gospel! I worked 14 years as a financial advisor (still am) and made a jump into ministry. I'll interview folks who also have some profound things to say on this channel. Red Grouper Season Opening Day! New Years Day 2024
In this episode I head out with a group of guys from my church to Tampa. They've had success with this specific captain before a few times and set up this New Years trip. We headed out for Red Grouper and Hogfish. We ended up with 7 Red Grouper and a ton of Mangrove and Lane Snapper. This was a great start to 2024! We are headed to New Smyrna in two weeks. Hopefully the hurricanes are past, and we can get some fishing done. I lived in Florida for years and love coming back to fish. Any recommendations for taking out my family. We are just looking to get the kids on some fish. Love the videos keep up the good work! God Bless!

Any children under 6 years of age have to wear a life jacket on a vessel under 26 at all times not sure what your vessel is but just F. YI be safe. Great family day

No worries! I’m not too familiar with the churches in the area. I would encourage you to seek out a Christian non-denominational one. There are a lot of denomination churches throughout NSB. Hope to see you out also! Tight lines

Hey the captain knew where to look! We had about 4-5 undersized ones so you weren’t alone. We caught most in 100ft of depth. Pinfish is where all the bites happened. Thx for watching! Blessings

They just got done rebuilding that jetty those low areas along the length of it were put there by the Army Corps of Engineers so the hurricane did not do that it was built like that
Hey thx for the comment. Since last summer the Army Corps of Engineers was reinforcing the jetty to curb wave erosion to the pass and channel. Greetings From Big Pine Key! Great info! Those fisher king balloon clips also come as a weight clip as well. They are 15 bucks for three but they work well but the zip tie way may be more cost effective. I’ve been getting mine on Amazon as I can’t find anyone who sells them local.. Tight lines Capt Tony

Hey Dustin- we traveled there also so I’m not current on the reports. I have seen people still loading up on scallops though. Seas will be flat there, just need to watch for good weather. Enjoy if you go!

Great info ! Have you broken the wing anchors on your Nomad Flying fish Yet ? Yet ? Yet ?, inevitably ! Very expensive, can’t replace those, extra wings are useless a this point Mag Bay Lures makes another option of large flying fish Soft rubber flying fish comes in 5”, 7” and 9”. (For The Record) !

Great fishing information I am from the northern USA and am learning salt water fishing I enjoy fishing the inter coastal waters too and now live near Ponce Inlet. I am looking for a used boat sold my old one if you know anyone with a good used boat let me know. God Bless I trust your channel will do well.
Hey Keith- thx for subscribing. Glad you found the video useful! Whether searching for an inshore or offshore boat, pickings are slim right now with inventory. I will warn you that right now you pay mark up on used boats, but if you find a diamond in the rough you have to move same day or it'll sell. I don't know anyone selling a boat right now but leave a comment here as to what type of boat you want and maybe another view can comment if they have a connection. Let us know if you're looking for an inshore flats boat, bay type boat or offshore boat. Blessings on getting up and started!
