I don't post often but this is a channel I use. Enjoy
a film about her.
The making of this film was to process a painful breakup. I pushed away a lot of my grief and feelings, and it just never got easier or better. So, I decided to confront those emotions and give myself clarity. This film represents how the initial breakup felt. The void of loneliness, the invasion of thoughts of what once was. That final quote is from the song Symphonia IX by Current Joys, “so as you fade away alive, I lay dying,” really resonates with me deeply. I felt like it perfectly captured what I felt. I was dying.
Every detail in this film has some sort of meaning. An enormous amount of thought, effort and time went into this, and I hope you all enjoy

This film was made for my first ever end-of-semester exhibition at the Kansas City Art Institute. Here is a link to a video from the exhibition: ua-cam.com/video/j6QzXddFK0Q/v-deo.html

some random box. - a short film

I made this film with the help of my roomies from college. This was for my foundations class where we did an animation with these boxes of mouths. I made the mistake of going all out and pulling an all-nighter to get it done. Was done 15 minutes to deadline lol
IT LURKS - a horror short film

A guy (Conner Sisemore) just enjoying some alone time is cut short when a strange figure (Killian Lewis) is discovered to be lurking outside. Doors are locked and the curtains are closed, but that doesn't stop what is coming... Something I have always wanted to do is make a true horror film. Well, if you're reading this, it has been checked off my bucket list. I was inspired to make this horror...
THE PHANTOM OF THE THEATRE - A Company Film Project

A film mixed with retro horror and new horror and a bunch of soon to be seniors. Follow the journey of a detective reporter for the school paper to see if he can find the ghost of the theater, A.K.A George, which is believed to be a superstition...boy was he wrong.

This is a short film that I have made for a Thespian Conference at my school. To me this film isn't perfect. Whether I look at this film in the next few days, months or years and hate it, the message is still so strong to me. This is how I have felt. A ghost, invisible, and all I want is to be appreciated and seen. I hope this gives an understanding to a part of me that people don't often see. ...

Spiderman Montage- We Will Rock You Tribute
You did an amazing job with this, it’s so raw and real and I think the use of mixed media just makes it even better. Also the end scene where the people were making a shadow heart was cute I hope that means you found someone new who makes you happy :)
Thank you, I’m so glad you enjoyed it :)
@ ofc :)
This is beautiful. Keep doing what you’re doing man. 🌸💕
This is so goddamn underrated, im gonna scream into my microphone, and make the whole universe know how underrated this is
The mixed media here is dope!
wow. down to the last drop of how a breakup feels. the silence of the mundane activity of driving home leading up to the in-bed self pity. The light entering your mind, to me at keast, represents how it feels like to obtain the false hope for a sense of closure by digging into memories and considering your actions with extreme scrutiny Your mind mulls over what once was, what you would give to have it back, and how your mind explodes when you realize not even giving your whole beating heart would work. I agree with that other guy, not a single wasted frame and i cried like a bitch as well lol. Heartbreak is life consuming.
Pain creates beautiful art that others enjoy while the artist grieves. God Bless, my friend stay strong.
This is so beautiful. Absolutely love the use of mixed media.
Painful, beautiful, and real.
lovely film. Love the simple beauty in this. I grasped a specific feeling in the beginning scenes with the rearview, it gives off the idea of looking into the past and not being able to look anywhere else (been there) Also about the rearview, not sure if it was a conscious decision or not but having such high fps in the scene gives off a sense of """realism""" that is often not so present in most films in 24 fps. It gives me the feeling that this moment is way too real, and that sensation of "this is right now, this happened already" hits very close. Loved the animation and soundtrack and specially the final scene, that almost made tear up a little for a strangers relationship. Little to no words and this and it tells me so much about how you are still feeling. The fact that it is just the shadows of the two of you makes it connect so much better with the animation section of the short film. Anyway, I loved it and i thank youtube for recommending this for me, i adore watching these kinds of short films, specially those that hit close home. Sending you my best wishes, i hope art becomes a way to heal, good luck in your life
Thank you for taking the time to watch and type out this comment. I’m glad you enjoyed watching my film and I appreciate you pointing out the little details. I wish you good luck in your life, and thank you again
i love these typa vids!!
my man, I congratulate you because of your work, I can see you put every feeling in you to make it, but I just can't watch the full thing, it breaks my heart to know that you went through this
Wow! Be proud you made this. Filmmaking like this isn't seen enough anymore. To everyone out there who wants to create, remember to create from your heart because that's what art is made for.
I love this. A low budget short film made with love and care
This is one of the best short films I've seen on here. It almost felt like if a poem was turned into something visual with no words, if that makes sense...? Either way, awesome job, dude! I hope you can keep making such incredible art, and don't give up!!
It makes perfect sense. I couldn’t find the right words to explain what I was feeling. So, I tried to convey the feeling with the visuals and the music. Thank you for taking the time to comment and watch my film, I appreciate you and your kind words
This kind of filmmaking is a lost art. You know what it means to be a creator, in the most literal sense. What a fantastic four minutes, you expertly told from the first to the last frame. I cried like a little bitch at the end. Not enough praise will be given to this.
I appreciate your kind words, thank you. I’m so glad you enjoyed the film
Wow! This is great. Congrats on one semester done!
Thank you!
this is so beautiful
Amazing job, Bry. We love you!❤
amazing film
@@star-eater thanks! Glad you enjoyed :)

yasssss you slayed
Appreciate it again! You all slayed!! :)
Nice work, creepy stuff for sure. Enjoyed seeing it 👍
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Rather anticlimactic........😒
Sorry about that, man. It's not for everyone. I would love to hear your thoughts, though. What do you think would have made it more climactic?
Dude, I love your style! What camera do you use?
Thank you!! I used a Blackmagic 6K G2. I had a cool opportunity to borrow it, so I did. I usually use a Panasonic Lumix G7
2:55 when you walk into English and see the chairs set up for Socratic seminar
Wow super amazing
Just leave the house..lol! most of these horror films take place in a home, like just get out ;)
Well, when you're trapped in a house with a creature that quietly got onto the roof in a matter of seconds, I don't know if leaving the house is the best thing to do. No matter what you are dead lol
Great film shame it was too dark to see what was happening 😭
That was intended 😉
The noises and jumps were amazing in this! The flash photo was perfect!
Man, that Killian Lewis guy did a dang good job as the creature
This is freaking amazing. Super proud of you guys. Great work.
why am i crying? this was so like… idek how to put it in words. it’s so incredibly relatable, and i feel like it’s relatable to all kinds of people, not just those struggling with strong mental health issues (like i’m assuming this is referencing). this was 100% deserving of it’s superior rating, and i’m interested in knowing if you were able to bring it to the national level and how it ranked there!
I'm glad you enjoyed it! I never did bring it to a national level because my troupe director and I didn't really understand how it all worked. I might apply it to some film festivals in the future, though! Again, I'm so glad that you felt an emotional connection to it :) Feel free to DM me anytime if you ever have questions or just want to talk!
really solid stuff here, man. what a cool way to address this feeling. great execution of an already artistic idea 👻🤯
Thank you Caitlin, I really appreciate it :)
Popa says Cool .
I am speechless! I’m so proud to be the sister of one talented young man. I love you so much bubba, you & your talent deserves to be seen. Xoxo, Shay❤
really proud of you bryant, keep it up i love it!

How do you get flipnote 3D?
To be able to download Flipnote Studio 3D you must have a Nintendo 3DS or 2DS system. Do you have one of those?
Dirtwaveletter Studios yeah a 2DS
Okay, so you go to a website called mynintendo.com. Create an account and then click "earn points". Next, scroll down to Nintendo Services which is a silver circle with mushroom on it. You will see challenges or missions for you to complete for points. They are for the most part easy. I did the scavenger hunt ones. After you earn 200 Nintendo service points you go to redeem points. Click on 3DS/WiiU software. Scroll and look for Flipnote Studio 3D. Redeem the points and you should get a code. Now, go to your 2DS and open the eshop. Go to redeem code and then type in the code you received. After that you should be able to download it. I hope this helps. Stay safe and have a nice day!
Awesome job. The whole thing syncs up nicely with the sound effects and the animation is on point👍😊
Thank you so much! I worked really hard on it. I'm very happy that you enjoyed it :)
Love how smooth this scene is 0:45
Thank you so much! I spent days on that shot.
Also, I checked out your channel and noticed that you have some amazing flipnotes on there. Might I ask how you uploaded them to UA-cam like that?
Dirtwaveletter Studios Thank you! Basically the way that I upload mine is by saving the flipnote to the SD card that I have in my 2ds. I then put the SD card into my computer and find the video. After that I edit it in a program then upload it. I found a semi decent video detailing how to do it so I hope this helps. ua-cam.com/video/YNMZBN1VjaA/v-deo.html
@@OddLocx Thank you! I'll have to try that when I make another Flipnote
@@OddLocx I'm working on another Batman animation. Not like this one though. It will be more comedic and cartoon like.
