I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry for your heartache, for the loss of sweet Josiah. About 20 years ago, I found a young girl crying in the sanctuary, her life was so hard and she was lost. You might know my mom was a drug addict and prostitute... Her mom was too. She and I prayed the salvation prayer together. When I left, like a wave all my pain washed over me. I wept. I wept for the heartache and fear that was my childhood. And then, thinking of the young girl in the sanctuary I dried my tears and thought... "It was all worth it". In my opinion, nothing was worth the loss of your baby! But I promise you, it was not in vain. One day, Josiah will show you all the souls that made it to heaven bc of your faith and his life. I love you.

In our marriage counseling my husband and I were told to write down our expectations of what marriage looked like, what we thought we would do, the other would do, down to the little things... Who does dishes, who does whatever. So we did. And then we got married, and discovered we had to throw those expectations out for the first few years! 🤣 We had to really learn each other, and be bendable with all the things life throws at you. You don't plan the attacks you have to be moldable and willing to redefine all those expectations to what really works, and to the strengths God gives each person. Some of our expectations have worked out now 9 years later, and others have been redefined. Things have happened and during those times one or the other spouse has had to step in and be the person who filled those shoes.
