I bought this guys aquarium in the video here, told me everything is good. I brought it home, and it was leaking. I msged him and replied a few times saying "oh no," and now he's ignoring me and isn't exchanging. This dude who runs this channel is a fraud. For 100$ to lose reputation is crazy.

What filter media are you using?
Use Vibrant for your bubble algae outbreak. As long as you follow the directions and don’t over do it the stuff works great. It takes a few months to completely knock it out but I swear by the stuff.
I’ve heard some bad reviews recently about vibrant, but I will look into it more

Use vibrant, it will get rid of your bubble algae
I have always just sucked the bubble algae out with a siphon when I do my water changes. I havent had an issue with them popping and spreading
What are the corals your trying to get rid of?
Frog spawn, open brain ,any LPS really

Thats a really nice size tank i am surprised its only a 40 gallon looks more like a 55 , I been thinking about getting back into the hobby and i am looking at buying a tank thats either 55 or 75 at petco or a used 90 gallon saltwater tank for a very reasonable price in the next two weeks, cant wait!

It’s been debated that spreading bubble algae through popping is a myth. I still try and avoid popping, just in case😅

Do you use an RODI system or do you just buy distilled water? And with salt water, do you mix your own or buy it? Not sure what the threshold is for making it worth doing it yourself or buying it.
Hey sorry for the late reply I personally just buy RO water at my LFS and with this tank size I just buy pre boxed salt water when I do water changes. Once every 2 weeks around %20. Refills on RO is only $4 and boxed water around $15
What lighting schedule are you using? Looks really good
So my lighting cycle I’ve been running has changed but I believe this cycle was 12:00pm-10:00pm %100 all blues %5 green and red and %20 white light !!!!!

The light is called AI prime 16HD and watts are 55 !!

Looking good man. I would have gone with the Studio 12 had I not bought the Fluval Evo 13.5 from Fragbox before they announced this. But still a solid starter tank.

@@xtdong6551 so before I set this tank up I already had another tank that was running for around a year I pretty much just took the water Rock and filtration out of that and added it into the studio 12 !!

I could but it’s pretty bare bones everything stock expect heater and light really
