IWC Podcast 73: Final Goodbyes and What I have learned
Doing this for over 5 years I have come away with the top ten list of what I learned about dealing with anxiety, OCD and behavior. This summarizes in the list what some of the major issues we have covered, interviewed and explored with the Invisible Wheelchair Podcast and now we are focusing on our new podcast www.focusedhealthyfamilypodcast.com
Even though this is Episode 73 - there have been 290 podcasts, I did not number the interview podcasts or Off The Cuff podcasts or some special podcast like end-of-year reviews (I am not sure why I didn't but I didn't).
Join me for my final good-bye and my list of major learns...

    So good to see a proper conversation around this particular, rare type of OCD. Timothy's story is very relatable and will hopefully give other sufferers much needed hope. Also, I am so glad you talked about how there is no definitive moment where you're suddenly cured. I spent a lot of years worried that I'd have these feelings forever and was hoping for a cure that would just magically make it all go away. And while it sounds scary it is actually so much healthier to realize and accept that these obsessions might never go away completely. But what can and is, believe it or not, very possible to change is how you feel in response to these intrusive thoughts (and in this case; various sensations). You might never go back to being the same person you were before you got OCD, but that's fine, and totally unrealistic anyway 😜 You will get better. Don't worry!

    My sensorimotor is dry lips and licking them for ever. Is this different from the other types. It causes fear and feeling strange. I went to the bathroom in the night and i felt big and the bathroom was very small. Its very scary.

    • @focusedhealthyfamily
      @focusedhealthyfamily 2 роки тому

      Anne - couple of thoughts for you, are you drinking enough water. Your lips being dry could be a sign of something else physical going on and you may want to check with a doctor. I would recommend a naturopathic doctor who will look at the whole you. As far as the scary bathroom, were you running a fever because that can cause weird scenarios like that. Neither of those symptoms are necessarily OCD, if they become extreme with hours of obsessing over them and you are getting a lot of obtrusive thoughts with them then you might be experiencing OCD. You may want to look for a OCD therapist or a doc who understands OCD to check it out.

    I'm here to give my testimony about a herbalist doctor who helped me. I was infected with HERPES SIMPLEX VIRUS in 4years ago I went to many hospitals to heal myself but there was no solution, so I was thinking how I can get a solution so that my body can be well. One day I was in the river thinking about where I can go to get a solution. so a lady walked towards me telling me why I'm so sad and I open everything by telling her my problem, she told me she could help me, she introduced me to a doctor who uses herbal medicines to cure the SIMPLEX HERPES VIRUS and everything I had to do and also gave me instructions to take, which I followed correctly. Before I knew what was happening after two weeks, the SIMPLEX HERPES VIRUS that was in my body disappeared. therefore, if you also have a broken heart and need help, you can also send an WhatsApp number: +2348164816038 you can still Contact him on email dromohanherbalmedicine @gmail.com will have a testimony ... Good luck! DR Omohan He also have the herb to cure: (1) ALS, (2) DIABETES, (3) HIV&AIDS, (4) URINARY TRACT INFECTION, (5) CANCER, (6) HERPES (7) COPD
