📖A BIT ABOUT US 📖
Hi folks, we are Clare & Tom, a middle aged couple from Dorset, UK, "Exploring our world". Travelling around Europe & beyond in our motorhome, Peggy, backpacking further afield or exploring our home country. We love a beer, good food, Geocaching and seeing what’s round the next corner. Oh, did we mention we like a beer! 🍻😎
We realised not everyone makes it to retirement age so in 2022 we quit our jobs and rented out our house so we could have the time to do our favourite things.
In this world you get 2 lives, the second one starts when you realise you only have one!
We made this channel for friends and family to see what we get up to and to hopefully inspire other people to not wait and get out there and do what they enjoy the most, before they can't!
New videos out most Sundays and occasional Thursdays.

all waterfalls are rivers or streams, defined as a point in a river where the water flows over a steep drop that is close to vertical. specificaly the horixontal distance between the plunge pool and the lip of the waterfall should be no more than 25% of the hight of the waterfall

this road takes just one day to drive if you go slowly and enjoy it. Either end of the road are towns with many shops. We found that in almost every village in Morocco there is a butchers, and a small shop selling all your basic needs, also most have a coffee shop that will make a tagine. You will never be far from food in Morocco

We drove the Tiz-n-Test in February last year, before the earthquake. As we approached the summit, weather started to close in and it started to snow hard and the mist (low cloud) made driving to dangerous to continue. We pulled into the Aire at the top and spent the night exactly in the spot where you were. Whilst we were there, the temperature dropped to minus 5c, the one and only time we've had ice on the inside of the camper windows. Next morning the weather and the road had cleared and we had the drive of our lives going south

@@fairyandthehun Perhaps I misspoke, Morocco has managed the natural disaster well enough to have refused support from France. The government set up a public and private treasury to rebuild all the villages, while preserving their specific architectural features. Morocco has released direct financial aid to all victims. It's a shame you didn't have the opportunity to talk to the families of the victims and hear their stories. In passing, I mentioned that Morocco has become a giant construction site, whether in terms of renewable energy, since Morocco is going to supply Great Britain with renewable energy. It's one of the giant projects worth around 25 billion euros ... human resources are the cornerstone of this beautiful Morocco, and above all hospitality
