@@punkb4t hey Punk…before tea? What I did was stand over the notebooks and use a dropper to drip a couple of drops of esch ink. I strongly suggest you put down some thing to protect your floor or desk and this stuff splashes for miles! Ruined a good shirt!

@@inadover I’ve given up. I got some little weirdo lav. I use a Pilot ink, one of the fancy ones that’s the color of hay. It’s gorgeous. Today I used that French lavender.

It really is just me at my desk writing in my actual journal or writing a new section of my new novel. Totally accidental that it got any traction, but I'm kind of loving it.

@@writers-asmr hey, thanks! I have some of the Waterman inks in my backlog, so I'll give it a try whenever I can. The Pilot Iroshizuku inks are all great, those 2 (Ama Iro and Kon Peki) are some of their most popular, along with Yama Budo (a wine looking color) and Asa Gao (another blue). Hope you'll like them.

Hey @tendergrotesque-In this video, the smaller pen is a Pilot Vanishing Point in Matte Black with a black iridium nib. That pen cost about $130. The bigger pen is a Jin Hao 9019 with an M nib that I had specially ground by Kirk Speer. The pen cost about $11 and the grind cost around $60. Worth it. What pens do you use?

@@writers-asmr I am a fiction writer; I actually have a novella up on KindleUnlimited that I’d self-published a few years back. I enjoy writing short stories occasionally as well, but my current project is a fantasy novel that’s going to be built up to a trilogy.

@@melanieannplans2666 the writing in pencil in these videos is my wip, a novella that occurs in 1880 England.

@@writers-asmr I was going to ask about that! Do you draft by hand then type the story on a computer? I still keep in touch with one of my writing professors from undergrad and he writes his manuscripts on a typewriter. It’s so awesome!
