    Thank you for good explanation.. However, there's something you've mentioned, that the power supply cables charges the battery to enable what to operate...?

    Hermano, thank you so much for this video!! Unfortunately, my CDL school did not teach how to back up to trailers and connect the hoses! I know it’s been a while since you’ve posted this video but I am so thankful for you! I have just started working as a Live Haul truck driver with Perdue Farms and obviously, backing up to a trailer is probably the most important part of my job

      Hello Sam Rivera, yes that's is true, it happened to me too. My school was in a junkyard in 2002 and they only teach us just the basics to past and get the CDL. In this job, all of us struggle in the beginning, some more than others, but that is just the beginning, you are going to get better and better to the point were the truck and trailer will feel like you are driving a small car👍 and your mind will naturally know what to do without thinking so much on a specific job like backing up to a dock, eventually everything will feel natural. Congratulations on your CDL and job💪 Thank you for your comment and for watching my videos👍

      It all depends on the type of trailer, some are reversed. The thing to remember is that there's 2 speeds always unless it's broken. Thank you for your comment and for watching my videos😀

    ¿Cuánto espacio debe dejar entre el suelo y el tren de aterrizaje al dejar caer un remolque?

    • @learnsometrucking9265
      @learnsometrucking9265 2 роки тому

      Hola 😃 True2it - no ay un espacio especifico, solo que toque el suelo es suficiente. Asi cuando venga otro troque a levantar la carga o loque sea no va estar muy alto el pin de la carga. Solo que toque el suelo, no ocupas ponerle presion. Gracias por tu pregunta y por ver mis videos👍

    How much space should you leave between the ground and landing gear when dropping a trailer?

    • @learnsometrucking9265

    • @stanleykubrick8786
      @stanleykubrick8786 Рік тому

      Good question. It should be about 1/2 inch off the ground before uncoupling so that you don't stress the landing gear while pulling the tractor away.

    When you unhook leave trailer, loaded or empty is their a certain way you habe to leave the landing gear in place or doesn't matter just leave on high or low and hook it on hook ? I'm asking because say you leave on low or high gear and it's loaded will the trialer drop the legs with the Weight?

    • @learnsometrucking9265
      @learnsometrucking9265 2 роки тому

      Hello MrSehka77 sorry for the late, late response, talking about the landing gear it doesn't matter, you can leave it in low or high. If the trailer is loaded and you want to raise it or lower it, that's when you use the lower gear so is easy on your body. I hope this helps. Thank you for your comment👍

    • @learnsometrucking9265
      @learnsometrucking9265 2 роки тому

      Hello Clever Clover, sorry for the late, late response to your comment. The PD bottom when press, the light turns on green and this means that the lift gate is using the electric power from the batteries on the trailer. When press again, it turns off and if you use the lift gate, is going to use the truck batteries for it to work. I hope this helps and thank you for your comment👍
