What kind of jetting did you have to do? I installed my DG slip on pipe and put a 152.5 main jet in and can’t get it to idle at all? Just didn’t know if you had any info for the carb side.

Have you check the solenoid of the fuse in the solenoid

got to fix that ticking bud, tighten the chain, check the valves. (if you even have it anymore)

Need a new starter or brushes rebuilt

How much was the exhaust system? Where did you buy it? Is it louder than stock?

When you started this project was you not getting spark? Mine was running good till the girl friend ran it threw water and it died.

There is a relay on these that go bad . Theres 2 of them under the rear fenders . U can bumb start it but when u try to use electric start it will just crank. Bad realay will couse to loose spark when using the starter button.

You ever figure it out did a new filter do the trick ? Did you go k&n? My warrior I just bought has the k&n box but no air filter for some reason the previous owner kept it so I’m thinking that’s why my bike keeps bogging and dying is it because you have to run a air filter ?

Bro same thing happend to me. The starter was turning the other way. Change the brushes on it and it turned the way it should

Is it running. Mine isn't getting spark and stator tested very low. I bought new stator. Do u think it will work ?

I was wondering I put the knew one way bearing in and when I put it all back together but that tooth that was stuck to the fly wheel when I finished putting mine back together and it makes a loud clank noise when I try to start it could that be the promblem for me forgetting to put that tooth in

By the way I have the same quad I was wondering do you have clutch problems like the clutch handle sticking out far

It's probably because the water splashes it and it can't breathe for that little bit and it sucks in water but I am buying the k_&_n air box filter and what I was told is if you drill holes in the top of the air box it works just as good as what you have on there

What kind of paint would you use on the frame and what's size main jet and pilot jet do you have in your carb

The timing chain was stretched; causing the timing to be off. So it was not firing at the right time; despite having everything lined up (TDC). New timing chain; AND I replaced the woodruff key with a brand new one. While I was in there; I replaced the piston with a Wiseco & honed the cylinder. Runs awesome now. Had alot of work done since this video. Check out my others with her running!

Try one of these. Or just get a piece of thin sheet metal or aluminum and fabricate it to go under the carb to prevent splashing up onto the filter. I'd get the CFM personally.

what ended up being the problem? Were the OHV in spec?

It's just water getting in your filter and chokes it out till it gets clean, I'd go back to stock box and drill holes in top if kid if wanting more air flow

Collin-- the starter clutch parts I bought were in fact garbage. They failed. I had to buy OEM parts. Came to 260$ in parts plus 200$ labor. Here's a photobucket link to the work that I had done in addition to fixing the electric start problem. I had the entire top end of the motor redone and fixed bent up suspension parts.
