The 72 stock and 60 stock have the best motor noises in my opinion.
Some good clips of the Merseyrail units and tones !!! Hoovers looked fab & You managed to capture the wood 🪵

Ahh, that brings back the biggest memories. That train and the 456's went on the other side of our street. Round the corner to see the level crossing, always seeing Mr and Mrs Patel. Saw the train every 15 minutes
@@alexanderw2009 brilliant story 👍🏻. Was my first time seeing 455s and loved them as the /7s have the 508 trailers as i’m sure you know and i grew up with 508s so was good to ‘see’ one again.
Fun fact: most tube trains have high/low whistles. Similar to how trains have high/low horns
Yeah i knew that. I did get 2 or 3 high whistles and i have to say. They were fairly loud !

Decent captures. I saw the Pullman and 86 with the 47 at Acton Bridge but wasn't there for the 47, 40 & 37. Wasn't expecting any of the ones I did see but it was well worth going.
