Tumble dryer belt, guide wheel repair, Hotpoint
How to repair a broken belt and guide wheel on a Hotpoint Tumble Dryer (should work for most).
Many people will avoid home repairs when it comes to tumble dryers, washing machines and other kitchen appliances. With some basic tools and a small bit of courage, most of these repairs can be fixed reasonably easily.
This is my own fix-it-yourself video. I’m not an engineer or professional. I simply like to repair things myself where possible. This video is to help people like me who want to have a go at self repair.

I’m glad you have made a video of this machine as mine is the same model as yours. I have just ordered the belt and a new pulley wheel as there is a lot of side play in the wheel. It was that electronic panel I was unsure how to remove it from the, but I was going to unplug all wire plugs instead. I will be doing it exactly how you have done it . I have put the dryer on a table instead, I would not have liked to work on in the small space you was working on though. Thanks for putting this video up regards Paul
