@TheGlitchGamer9 I added an asterisk (*) beside characters since there's a large majority of characters not owned by Aurek Team who are in STN/BTD, however they are not 1:1 recreations of already existin or copyrighted characters, since that would land ATD in some extremely frigid waters- There's a pretty key difference in unique concepts, remakes/recreations, or plagiarism and 1:1 knock-offs: Concept: Somethin unique, brings somethin different to the table. Could be a new Slasher, a new Slasher skin, all sorts! Usually doesn't use any pre-owned assets unless you're doin somethin like an alt. Slasher Skin. Remake/Recreation: To remake or remodel somethin, whether as a new remaster of an old Map or Model, or simply changin small features of it. For some things like copyrighted IP or certain locations/characters/gameplay mechanics etc. You might need explicit permission from the copyright holders or owners of the thing you want to recreate. I.e Zeal will often ask in ATD if he can reuse assets from Aurek Team in Pressure. Plagiarism: The act of stealin or usin someone else's work or assets, usually without prior permission or consent from the copyright owners. This can result in a lot of legal problems such as C&D (cease and desist), DMCA (basically a copyright claim), Claims, all sorts of difficulties ye don't really wanna worry abt at your age. I don't think Rach, Spidey, or Dylan are evil enough to outright *_sue_* you over stolen assets (which yes, it counts as stolen assets since you didn't ask the devs for permission to remodel their owned assets first) they're not exactly evil mega-corp Groups like Do Big or Preston/Big Games...Still, you made the difficult but necessary decision to not go further with BTD:RB's work. That's really the bottom line of it all.
